Sweet Pea's POV

I thought she was going to die, I already lost Fangs, I couldn't lose her too. I watched her sleep in the small hospital bed. Her hair in her beautiful face. She was to be discharged tomorrow and I couldn't be more happy.

I listened to her breath while I did some work. I adored her. Every so often the doctors would come in and check on her.

I typed a file on the computer for a finished case when a knock came at the door, the door was open so whoever was doing it to be nice.

Looking up, my eye's were meant with green ones. Hunters green ones. She stood, black heels clapping the floor as she came in the room.

She held flowers in her hand as well as a bag around her forearm. She looked as good as she did when we were together.

"What are you doing here?"
"Came to visit an old friend." She said, shrugging, before placing the flowers next to similar ones.

She sat in the chair on the other side of the bed, mirroring mine. Smiling, she showed teeth before talking.

"You know, I've been quite lonely with out you." Shaking my head, I stood. Pacing I occasionally glanced towards her, before telling her that she needed to leave.

She stood with me, walking the length of the room, causing me to recoil, not to wake Mina.

I sat, as she came behind me. I had no clue how she got here or how she knew Mina was in the hospital.

Her arm wrapped around my neck, pulling me closer to her upper body. My head was pressed against her boobs. I knew this looked bad, and that it'd look bad to anyone and all parties.

I pulled away, standing, and dragging her out by her hand. She made a show of slamming the door as we made our way into the hallway.

"What the hell do you think your doing?" I asked, keeping my voice low.

I could see Mina through the yellow stained glass as she looked at me as well. Her pale face matched the bedding and the walls as she sat up in the bed.

"What ever do you mean Pea?" She said as she batted her lashes at me. Her smirk made me more pissed if possible, she thought this was a game.

"You know, I just missed you baby." I shook my head as she continued.
"I guess I assumed Mina was dead and I'd get you back."

Shaking my head, I backed up, before talking.

"She's not dead and you don't have a chance, nor will you ever." Tears welled in her eye's, before she pulled me towards her.

"You remember Mac? He was my lover, and Mina will pay. What do you say, an eye for an eye?"

I shook my head, pushing her from me, before walking back into the hospital room.

Mina was sat up in the bed, her eye's following my every move until I sat down in the chair.

I rubbed her knee as I listened to her speak, in her velvety voice.

"Pea, who was that?" Her voice carried concern as she spoke.
"Hunter." I listened to a gasp slip passed her lips as she stared in my direction.

Her face flashed so many emotions, that also held concern. I couldn't help but feel bad, she didn't deserve the stress.

Standing, I wiped hair from her forehead, laying a kiss in the spot the hair sat, she was endlessly beautful, and I was in love with her.

"W-what did she want?" I held her clammy hand as she asked, words coming out in concerned mummbles.

"She and Mac we-"
"Dating" She finished for me as she cut off. I stared at her, blinking at a rapid pace before nodding.

"Yeah, they were."
"Why did she come?" She asked again, sitting fully up.

"Um, well, she wants an eye for an eye, seeing how I killed Ma-"
"She wants to kill me."

Her face went ghostly pale, as we both came to realization that she can't forever escape death, and that time was limited.

"Pea, I have something to tell you." I stopped my thoughts and turned all my attention towards my savior.

"We-we're going to be parents, Pea." I watched tears weld in her eyes as she looked down, finding our hands interesting.

"What?" I asked, dumbfounded. We've only had sex a handful of times and more often than not, we were careful.

"Pea, we're having a baby." She said, looking towards me.

In that moment, I knew I was going to protect these two on my life, assuring they'd be forever safe.

"Who have you told?" I asked, hearing my shaky, panicky, voice.

"Just you, I found out last week when I came in." I felt cold wet tears liter my face as I watched her.

I didn't care, I climed in right next to her, holding her close to me. We we're going to be a family of three. We aren't even out of high school.

She cried and cried, to the point it made me cry, but all in silence. Stroking her hair, I finally spoke.

"We're going to do this, because we can, we'll do our best until our best is not enough." The doctor came in, looking at us and turning back out.

I was going to do my best, even if it wasn't good enough, they are my life and I want to make it perfect.

The nurse eventually came in before telling us that we needed to talk to the doctor and sign discharge papers before the night was up. She was to be released tomorrow, and we were excited to go home.

I didn't know how going home was going to affect us, if it was going to at all.

We'd have to see how time would treat us. Right now, it was about us three.

Right now, it was about us three
