Cheryl's home never failed to suprise me. The size, her Nana Rose, the family her and toni had made with the twins. They made great mothers.

Pea opened the door for me, helping me out. The steep walk way made my feet hurt. Toni and Cheryl greeted us at the door, opening their arms for us and pulling us into hugs.

The twins sat in the bright living room, playing with multiple toys that littered the small area that surrounded them.

Nana Rose sat in her wheel chair, watching over them as they did so.
Toni grabbed Sweet Pea's arm, pulling him from my veiws.

"Don't worry, Jughead and the boys are outside. I figured I couldn't whisp you away and leave Pea to fiddle with his thumbs. "

Nodding, I followed Cheryl to the kitchen. She had food being prepared as we spoke.

The cook watched us walk in, and grinned.
"You want cookie?" He had asked as his other cooks scattered the kitchen.

"No, Poppy, she does not want a cookie. We came to get some water." Cheryl said, opening the fridge for some bottled water.

She handed me one, and walked towards me. We moved to the living room, seeing the kids.

The doors leading to the back were open, allowing everyone on the back patio to be seen. Everyone was outside, but Betty, Archie, and Veronica.

"Where's the rest of the core four?" I asked as Cheryl and I walked.
"You know how Archie and Veronica are, and Betty's with Charles, looking for her mother."

I nodded, rushing through the crowd, finally meeting up with Sweet Pea and Jughead. Sweet Pea held a water while he talked to Jughead about the serpents.

His hand rubbed down my back as he talked. I leaned into him as he talked. The vibration echoed around in my head.

"So Mina, are we getting little baby a serpents jacket?" Jughead asked.
"The fuck? No, I'm not even an offical member of the serpents." I said rolling my eye's.

"We could make you a member before the baby's born, so we can keep you safe when Pea's busy." Jughead said, making Cheryl huff, before she walked off to some of the pretty poisons.

"Cheryl's making a big dinner, you two are honorary guests, she threw this for you guys." Jughead said, nodding.

"Why? That's weird." Pea said looking around.
"No, she's just excited for the two of you, excited for the baby." Jughead said before walking off.

Toni eventually greeted us and lead us under the shaded area, concerned for the baby. The weather reached up into the 90's.

My belly wasn't very big for four months, but the doctor said Peanut was fine, on track to be a healthy baby.

A large number of the poisons greeeted me and moved to Pea to flirt.
More importantly, Peaches, the one Pea and Toni had a run in with, I still wasn't that ok with Toni, but she was Cheryl's girlfriend, so I had to try and act civil.

Pea shifted at the patio bar as she stroked his arm, or made flirty comments. I didn't really know, but, I trusted Pea.

Handfuls of people greeted me as they learned the patio picnic was thrown for us, in honor of us, I guess.

I sweat in the heat, being noticed by Cheryl, she talked me upstairs into a chilled tub. She brought Pea up after I got settled.

"Wow last time you were in a tub, we, um, y'know." Sweet Pea scratched his neck.
"Yeah, Pea. I know." Leaning back, a sigh escaped.

His hand splashed lightly in the water. He eventually circled the room, looking down into the backyard.

"What are you looking at?" He's been acting weird, and it was making me uncomfortable.

"Nothing, just all the people that are here, any of them can pose a threat to you. I'm just on edge."

"Come sit baby boy, you're making me worry." He nodded, walking over to the closet lounger that cheryl pulled out for Pea, before he was even up here.

Cheryl eventually came up, bringing me a change of clothes as she rushed Pea out so she could help me. She helped me down the stairs and to the large dinning room.

Mostly everyone was sitting down, with empty spots where people have left or were somewhere else in the house.

"A spot is open by Pea, if anyone gives you any issues, tell me." I nodded as she went towards the kitchen and I went to the table.

Before I could get to the seat, Peaches made her way into the spot.
"I'm sorry, but thats my seat."

She ignored me, but got tired of me breathing down her neck.
"Can I help you?" She said looking up at me.

"Thats my spot. Can you please move?" I made eye contact with Sweet Pea, as he sighed. Cheryl had came out. Carrying some dishes.

She made eye contact with Toni. She stood up, before making her way over to Peaches, telling her to move.

She gave a mean look towards me, as she stood, knocking me out of the way.

As dinner went on, and conversations were shared, we lived in the moment. We enjoyed now, and understood that moments like this were not forever, and would come and go as they may.

I enjoyed these moments.
