After we found FP, he followed us back to his trailer. Jughead left a note saying to call when we found him, which we did.

FP went to get some sleep while I sat on the couch. I really had to do work, but I was unmotivated. I grabbed my bag and keys, walking to the truck that sat next to the bikes.

I put the keys in the ignition and pulled from the spot. I plugged in my aux cord and played some G-Eazy. I unrolled the windows and cranked the radio up more.

I wasn't sure where I was going or even what I was doing, I just drove. It was almost a comforting feeling as I turned the wheel. I looked up into my rear view mirror to see the flashing of police lights.

"Shit"

I pulled over to the side of the road and waited for the officer to make his or her way to my window. I was almost sure I wasn't speeding.

"License and registration please."

I pulled the registration from my glove box.

"Sir, I was I speeding?"
"No"
"Why was I pulled over?"
"Disturbing the peace"
"What is this? Footloose?"

The police officer looked up from my licenses.

"Ms.Cara, this is not Greendale. We run a tight ship in this town."

I looked back towards the road.
"I'm letting you off with a warning. Keep your music to a minimum."

I nodded as he walked back to his car, got in, and drove off. I started my truck again and drove further up the road that was encased in tree's.

I came across a creak with a waterfall.  I pulled over and got out. Greendale didn't have anything like this, just stuck up dickweeds for people.

I watched as the water flowed over the top. I wanted to stay here for ever. I was happy to be in the town my mom grew up in.

I slowly walked back to my truck, getting in and going in the direction of town.

The drive wasn't very eventful. I did nothing that was worth noting. I decided to go to Pop's. I needed to get work done.

I drove in silence. Once I pulled into the diner, I parked, and finally got out.  I was walking towards the door when I saw police cars. I slowly proceeded into the diner.

It looked normal. The cops sitting at the closest booth to the door. I walked towards the very back booth and sat, setting my bag next to me in the process.

"Hello Mina! What can I get for you?" Pop Tate said approaching me.
"A strawberry milkshake and some fries please."

He nodded walking back behind the front counter. I turned my laptop on and unlocked it. I pulled my mom's journal from the bag and placed it next to me.

I opened the document and started to brainstorm what I can possibly add to what I had written.

Today I made the last minute decision to move to Riverdale. I may only be 16, but I feel like I was older than that. I've have fears and regrets, and I've learned from them.

I want to succeed, to be proud of myself. I am proud of what I have already accomplished, but I'll always want to do more. I have dreams and I have ambition to do what I have dreams of.

I got into writing when I was young, I enjoyed books. Most of the books I read were crime and mystery. That gave me a insight of how sad and twisted the world was.

I soon got into photography, as a hobbie. I was proud of being able to capture things that others can't see. At this point, it's one of my favorite things to do, besides writting and reading. I love talking about things that make me happy.

Other than that, I really have nothing to add. I am very fortunate to have this opportunity to work at the Herald.

Sincerely,
Mina Gray

I sat reading over the article as I typed the last words. Everything seemed nice. I just wasn't sure why I had signed my name with my mothers surname.

Pops walked towards me with my fries and milkshake, I gave him a kind smile as he put the items on the table before turning his attention else where.

I copied the document and sent it off to the Herald before opening my mom's journal. It made me warm inside knowing I was holding another piece of my mom with me.

April 7th, 2002
I don't really know what I'm doing, writing this. I am never one to express myself. The baby is to be due in a couple of months. I'm very excited. As I write, I can feel her kick.
Mac and I just moved into our first home. A nice three bedroom, right inside of the Southside.
Monty is very happy to have a little sister. He may not be my son, but I love him just the same.
Now, the baby. She's a girl. Her due date is July 21st. Mac is over the moon about having a little girl. The only thing that is keeping me from the same happiness is the secret I hold with the baby.

I read the first entry. I have a feeling that the secret was I wasn't his child. I sipped from my milkshake as I looked through some emails.

It was approaching noon. I watched as some Northsiders came in, Jug with them of course. I sighed, feeling a great sense of pain, knowing I would probably never be friends with any of them.

I leaned back, watching out the window. The weather was still shit, not that I minded.

Laughing interuptred my thoughts, their laughing. They were such a loud group of preps.

I continued to scroll through countless email, from work to spam. I finally finished and started to pack up my things.

I finally finished and started to pack up my things
