The town was on edge after Hiram Lodge was shot. Betty was on the hunt for who killed Claudius, Jughead was looking into who shot Hiram.

I kept myself out of everyone's business. The more I read in the journals, the more dark they got.

It was just me. Sweet Pea was handling the serpents with Fangs.

I had things I had to find out. I guess for my own sanity. First, I needed to get Sabrina and Kleo down here.

I grabbed candles and a witching book. I set the candles up in a circle and lit them. To be honest, i had no clue what i was doing. I opened the book to the table of contents, running my fingers down until I hit the communications chapter.

I flipped to the page number, flipping through a few pages, trying to find what I had needed. I read a chant in my head, before chanting loudly. The candles blew out as wind rushed through the house.

"Jesus, what do i need to do to get some sleep."
"Kleo!"

The lights in the living room flickered on.

"What can we do for you, cousin?"
"I need to know about my mother. She wrote, some, things, i guess."

Sabrina flicked her fingers, and proceeded to talk.
"You can summon her, but you have to have someone close to you here, when you do it."

The birds began to chirp outside the house. Time was up.

"Mina, we're always a phone call away!"

The lights in the house flickered out as Sabrina and Kleo left. I left out air as I stood, collecting the candles from the floor. I turned on the light as I walked the hallway.

I padded against the cold hard wood floor. I set the candles in the linen closet, before talking the book back on the book shelf in the living room.

Everyone's secrets were being exposed. I could list a few secrets Jughead and Betty found out, but you'll find out sometime pretty soon. A knock came at the door as I set the book on the shelf.

"I'm Coming!"

I walked to the door and unlocked it, I held the door open. Sweet Pea stood with bags of food, waiting to come in. Which he did, he walked past me, setting the food on the kitchen island.

"So, what have you been up too."
"Just work, catching up on somethings.

He brought the take out boxes to the coffee table. I locked the door, walking over to the light switch, lowering the harsh lights down. I sat next to Pea on the couch watching as he turned on the tv.

I opened the box, taking the burger out. Sweet Pea followed my motions. The news was on, talking about Claudius' death. I kept my eyes on the news as I ate. Betty and Jughead were on their own hunts, doing their own things now that the SAT's were over.

I sat closer to Pea, a sudden brush of coldness rushed through the room. Pea's phone went off, he pulled it from his pocket, and then sighed.

"What is it?"
"I gotta go, I'll come back when I'm done."

I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him into a kiss. I pulled away quickly, before he pulled me back into the kiss, wrapping his arms around my back side. I felt him smiling into the kiss, causing me to smile.

"P-Pea, you gotta go."
"I know, just give me a minute."

He gave me another quick peck before pulling away. He stood from the couch, giving me a look of what seemed like, a look of happiness.

"I'll put your dinner in the fridge my Sweets."
"Thank you, baby doll"

He unlocked the door, pulling it open and then walking out to the elements. It was cold in Riverdale. For it being early February, I didn't see it warming up anytime soon. I now stood from the couch, closing the lid on his take out box, before walking it to the fridge and then locking the door.
