Arianna
When we reached the training centre, I found it empty. I was a bit relieved and used the equipment to my advantage.
A little while later, I noticed the Alpha watching me. I didn't stop because I knew he needed to see my skill level to decide what he was going to do with me.
I also noticed that his beta and another man with a strong aura joined him, but the man was older. I could tell it was his father from the resemblance, without the silver hair of course. No, his father had dark, chestnut coloured hair.
When I finished, I put everything back and stood in front of the alpha with my head down, showing my submission.
"How old are you?" His father asks with a deep and threatening tone.
"21 sir," I answer politely.
"I understand you have been doing this for 2 years, correct?" He confirms as I nod my head. "If you were an alpha before, what was your pack?" He asks skeptically.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you," I say with a sigh, shaking my head.
"Is that why you won't tell me?" He asks as I hear his anger rising.
"There is no point, you will already punish me for being foolish when you think I am lying. I would much rather take the punishment with no hassle than share the only thing that is left as my own." I say thoughtfully as I dare to peak up at them.
"You think we're going to punish you?" The Beta asks with a furrowed brow.
"That's what is supposed to be done when I don't follow orders or act out, to make sure I learn," I answer void of emotion.
"And what does your wolf think of this?" His father asks. I notice the alpha not saying anything, just staring thoughtfully at me.
"Copper? He knows he can't do anything, he knows he'll make it worse if he intervened." I say with a snort. When I realize what I said, I cover my mouth and look down in horror, waiting for the inevitable pain to come.
"Your wolf is a he?" The alpha asks speaking for the first time since he came in here. I meekly nod and don't dare look up at them. "Can you leave us please?" He asks his father and Beta politely. They both nod and leave quietly.
"What can I do to be of service to you alpha?" I ask as I stay in the spot when I notice him coming to me.
"Can you look at me?" He asks cautiously. I look up and see his blue eyes looking down at me sadly. He's quite taller than my average height.
"Why is it you think we bought you, regardless of the number of times I assured you we didn't?" He asks placing a hand on my cheek. I flinch slightly, but when I feel the sparks he emits, I lean into his hand.
"They all do. They all lie to get what they need before marking me and sending me away." I don't think he liked the sound of that because he growled lowly, causing me to flinch away from his hand.
I noticed he whimpered at the loss of my touch and let his arm go limp at his side.
"Arianna." He says trying to catch my attention. Every time he says that name, it builds on the disgust in my stomach, knowing he doesn't know who I am. But if I uttered my real name, I would be disgusted with myself.
