I hate it whenever I bring up sharkweek and how I actually cannot function because of how depressed it makes me, my mom always says, "All women hate sharkweek too! It's normal, it doesn't make you trans for hating it, and you don't need to complain so much, since all other women go through it."

Yes, ciswomen hate it too. BUT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE IT! I am not.

Heck, most of the emotional stress isn't from the sharkweek itself. Most of it is from Dysphoria.

You do not understand what dysphoria feels like. You cannot tell me to suck it up because "all women hate it, and it's difficult for all women".

It's more than sharkweek cramps, mood swings, etc. It brings Dysphoria, which is the thing that actually fucking hurts me, and I have physical evidence to prove that fact.

I'm allowed to be dysfunctional, and I'm allowed to complain about it. Please stop invalidating my emotions. Thanks.
