"Surrender now! This is your last chance!", Lisa shouted through her megaphone again. The others held their fire as the negotiation was going on but they're aimed at the crooks and ready to fire anytime.

"Let us escape or else we'll kill this kid!", one of them shouted while standing up. Lisa already knew that the situation just got worse. Her blood boiled and her anger rose because she hates criminals who takes hostages, especially kids. "Tell the other officers to lower their guns and let us walk out of here!", he demanded. Lisa signaled the others to comply the demands while she thinks what she should do. The crooks started walking to the nearest exit while the cops carefully followed them. They were already near the exit when Lisa blurted out, "Let go of the kid! Take me instead!"

Everyone was shocked at the statement, especially Chaeyoung who knew Lisa was not as reckless as this. But Lisa was really desperate because she didn't want the kid to be in more harm than he is now. She thought that at least if it was her, she could think of a way to escape and could defend herself whatever may happen.

The robbers thought for a while, then agreed to Lisa's request because they thought that the cops wouldn't do anything that could hurt Lisa since she's a cop. "Okay Officer Manoban, drop your weapon and come here". Lisa dropped her gun and walked slowly towards the crooks. She then saw a group of cops behind the crooks, slowly getting near and ready to attack. The crooks were too focused on Lisa to make sure she doesn't pull off any trick that they didn't notice the cops behind the getting closer. Lisa was also getting near, thinking that she needs to be ready for whatever may happen but the kid's life was her top priority at the moment. 

Thankfully she got near enough before one of the crooks looked behind them and shouted, "BEHIND US!" which made all the robbers flinch and turn around. This was Lisa's signal to grab the kid and carrying him back to safety. Another gunfight erupted but Lisa didn't turn around to see what's happening. She just ran as fast as she can to bring the kid to safety. Chaeyoung was calling out to Lisa so that the latter would come to her. Lisa got to her and put down the terrified kid. Chaeyoung was trying to calm down the kid when Lisa realized that there was no more gunshots so she quickly turned around to see what's happening.

2 dead crooks. 3 were pinned down and are being cuffed. The one who took the kid as hostage was crying but she shrugged it off and thought that he deserved to go to jail. She wanted to smile thinking that they did a good job but then she suddenly felt weak, really weak. She fell to her knees then she heard Chaeyoung scream, "LISA! YOU'RE SHOT!"

Lisa then realized it. She felt that there was something hurting on her back but she didn't mind because it didn't hurt too much because her adrenaline was pumping hard. "Oh", she mumbled weakly before falling to the ground. Unconscious.
