Lisa P.O.V.

Today was definitely unforgettable. I don't regret bringing her to the zoo even if it was really far. We're now driving home and Jennie fell asleep in the passenger seat. I sneak glances on her for time to time, admiring her cute sleeping face. I think my face will be sore later from all the smiling I did today. 

I parked my car in their garage, got out of the car and went to the passenger side. I opened the door slowly and unbuckled her seat belt. She's sleeping so soundly and I don't want to wake her up so I carefully lifted her up and carried her inside the house. Her cute snores filled my ear that immediately made my heart flutter. I brought her to Jisoo's bedroom and gently laid her on the bed, trying my best not to wake her up. I caress her cheek and place a soft kiss on her forehead before heading out the door but I felt a hand latch on my shirt. I turned around and saw a tear escape Jennie's eye.

"Don't leave me, please." Jennie uttered with her eyes closed. I felt my heart sink at the sight so I took her hand from my shirt and held it with my right hand while my other hand wiped the small tear from her face. "I will never leave you, Jennie." I spoke softly and sat down beside the bed, her hand still on mine.

Jisoo P.O.V.

As soon as the meeting finished, I quickly left and I'm am currently driving my way home. I'll cook something extra special tonight as a thank you to Lisa for taking care of Jennie.

Lisa.

A sad smile appearing on my face while I think about her.

She probably didn't notice but I've been watching her these past few days when she comes to our house to check up on Jennie. I'm happy that I get to see her everyday because of it but... I can't help but notice how she cares for Jennie so much. Some might say she's just careful with Jennie because my sister went through a traumatic experience but her actions scream something else. How she smiles whenever she talks to Jennie. How she makes a complete fool out of herself just to make Jennie laugh. How she carefully guides Jennie to wherever she wants to go. How she...

How she looks at Jennie like she's the only person in her world.

And as much as I don't want to admit, she has never looked at me in that way. 

As I feel tears forming in my eyes, I quickly shook my head and shrug the thoughts away. I replace the sad smile to a confident one. I still have a chance. I know Lisa likes me too. It's just a matter of making her like me more, starting with tonight's dinner. I clear my thoughts of negativity as I get closer to home.

"I'm home!" I yell as I get in our house. No sign of Jennie or Lisa anywhere. Weird. I put down my things and went my way to my room since that's the only place I can find Jennie if she's not around the house. I knock lightly and opened the door. "Jen-"

I felt my world stop as I saw Jennie and Lisa sleeping. Jennie was on the bed, sleeping soundly with her hand comfortably on Lisa's. Lisa was on the floor leaning onto the bed, her head right next to Jennie's. Other people might feel happy seeing this cute scene but I just felt my heart shattering.

Jennie started moving a little and mumbled, "Lisa..."

My eyes darted to their joined hands. I saw Lisa's hand tighten around Jennie's, probably to let her know that she's right there and for the first time in my life, I saw Jennie smile in her sleep.

I let out a deep sigh before slowly going out of the room. Looking up to stop my tears from falling as my heart aches from what I saw. I heave out another sigh before starting to walk towards the kitchen. 

I need to distract myself.

I'm almost done cooking when I heard a yawn from outside the kitchen.

"Hi Jisoo. Sorry for falling asleep." Lisa said while she entered my space. I turned to face her and gave her a quick smile before giving my attention back to what I'm doing. "No it's fine, Lisa. And you're just in time. I'm almost done cooking so can you wait at the dinner table? I'll set it up after this."

"I can set the table up for us, Jisoo. It's just the two  of us anyway. Jennie's still sleeping." Lisa said with a smile so I simply nodded.

I finished cooking and served it. Lisa's eyes widened as she saw what I cooked for dinner. "Gamjatang! My favorite!" She exclaimed while jumping up and down and clapping her hands like a kid. I simply shake my head and chuckle at her childish actions as we start eating.

"So, how was the zoo" I broke the silence by asking.

"Oh! It was wonderful! Jennie was so ecstatic when she found out about it. We went to every exhibit there and I'm just so happy that I thought of that idea. It was like Jennie didn't go through anything. And Jennie tried out everything from the food stalls. She was adorable, I tell you. I took a lot of pictures of her too. She was pretty in every single one. And Jennie also..."

Jennie, Jennie, Jennie. All I heard from her was Jennie. I just stared at her while she tells her stories with her eyes sparkling. She didn't talk about the zoo, she just talked about Jennie. I let out a small chuckle at the thought and sighed.

"Was I talking too much? I'm sorry, Jisoo." Lisa said with a small frown and worried eyes. "Oh no, Lisa, it's fine. I'm really happy that you both enjoyed it. Thank you for making my sister smile. I'm just... a little tired, I guess. It's also getting late. You should go home and rest, too." I told her and gave her a small smile. "You're right, Jisoo. Let me help you clean up first then I'll be going."

"You don't have to, Lisa. I'm fine. This is nothing." I said and playfully pushed her to the living room. She laughed and got her bag before proceeding to the door. "Thanks for the dinner, Jisoo. It was delicious. Good night."

As soon as Lisa went out the door, I heaved out a deep sigh and stared into nothingness. "Jennie huh.." I breathed out. Thinking about Lisa's actions these past few days and how she talked about Jennie. I didn't even realize that my tears were already streaming down my face. It was too obvious, I chuckled at my tears.

"I guess I already lost huh...."

A/N: This update took waaaaay too long I'm sorry. Even though I promise an update a few weeks back :( Please forgive me I'm not the best at this :( But thank you for patiently waiting! :D 

If this feel rushed, I'm sorry. I really want to finish this fic and if I take a longer route, I might end up abandoning it so please bear with me. I really hope I can update more frequently now that the end game is clear now.
