Everything happened so fast.

I couldn't even move my body.

My heart stopped beating and I couldn't even breathe.

There was only one thing on my mind, Jennie.

And now...

Now I can really save her.

"LISA NOW!" a shout was heard from somewhere in the building as the body of the man behind Jennie fell to the ground.

Aish that chipmunk. What would I do without her. I really owe her big this time.

I smirked and immediately pulled the hand of the man to make his face meet my fist. Still not letting go, I pulled his hand again to hit his stomach with my knee, hard. I punched him again and again and again, letting all my anger out. I can already feel my knuckles bleeding at this point but I didn't mind. Every part of my body hurts but I felt a certain rush of energy and adrenaline. I took the knife that was still sticking out of my shoulder and aimed for his neck, only stopping a few centimeters away when I heard Jennie screaming for me to stop.

I sighed and threw the knife away then twisted the man's arm to his back and pinned him down on the floor as police filled the room with Chaeng leading them.

"You're going away for good now, asshole. Don't you ever get near Jennie again or I will kill you myself." I snarled at him before letting the other cops take him away. I got off of him and Chaeng pulled me up quickly. "Lisa, what the hell happened to you?! You look like shit!" Chaeng angrily scolded me and I just let her. "You completely saved me there, Chaeng. Thank you." I smiled gratefully at her and she ruffled my hair, "I got you, partner. And I know you got me too. Now go get your girl, Romeo."

I chuckled at her remark and rushed to Jennie as her hands were getting cut free. I cupped her tear-stained face and caressed her cheeks with my thumbs. "I'm so so sorry for getting you into this mess. I'd understand if you didn't want to be around me anymore. I'm so sorry, Nini." I choked a sob as I apologized to her.
