Jisoo P.O.V.
"How long is Dr. Jeon gonna make me wait?" I said. I hated waiting.
I have been working at this hospital for a year now. Well, me and my sister that is. I have had a lot of patients throughout the year and I barely remember them. Some of them tried to hit on me but no one really caught my interest. Did I mention I was gay? My family is okay about it since my sister came out too, instead a lot of my male patients and colleagues are the ones disappointed that I am gay. I'm not currently looking for a partner because I am still enjoying my single life.
But there was one patient who had successfully caught my eye without even trying. Unfortunately, I had to leave for New Zealand and pass her to Dr. Jeon without even properly meeting her. She was still on my mind until now. Will I ever meet her again? If I can remember correctly, her name was Lalisa Manoban and she's a cop. She got shot and had to be operated. I was assigned as her attending doctor but I was also busy that day because I was handling two other patients. One of my patients was rushed to the O.R. because she had a burst artery and I was preparing for her surgery when Ms. Manoban was brought to the O.R. needing a surgery too. I had no choice really, both of their lives were at risk.

I called someone else and let her do the surgery on the cop, saving the latter's life. Not a lot of people in the hospital knew about it. Not even Dr. Jeon. I can't just call another doctor to operate on a patient assigned to me. That was against the hospital's rules and I'd get reprimanded for what I did but the people around me that time agreed that there was no other choice since both patients could die if their surgeries were delayed and they support my decision. So we all agreed that what happened were to be kept to ourselves.
I decided to walk around and look for Dr. Jeon. I wanted to ask him some questions about Ms. Manoban. I could say I was attracted to her I mean, who wouldn't? She looked so beautiful even when she was dying. And I wanted to say sorry for leaving her abruptly and passing her to Dr. Jeon. I remembered that Dr. Jeon didn't come up with us so maybe he was still on the ground floor. I immediately went to the elevator and went down.
I was stunned when I got off the elevator. I saw a familiar face at the information desk, a face I was actually looking for. I never imagined that I'd find her this easily. Was it destiny? I chuckled at the thought. I felt a smiling forming on my mouth as I walked towards her.
"Oh Dr. Kim! Good morning to you!" the attendant greeted me. I was surprised but still smiling nonetheless.
She turned around and I almost got lost in her eyes. My heart was already screaming at this point but I tried to keep myself as calm as possible.
"Good to see you again, Officer Manoban" I said calmly and with a smile. "Are you my attending doctor when I was admitted a week ago?" She asked. So she was also looking for me? I can feel my smile growing wider. "Yes I am. I am Dr. Kim, Dr. Kim Jisoo"
A/N: Short chapter. Sorry for the small early reveal, I needed to keep non-jenlisa shippers from walking out hahaha I kinda broke their hearts with the last chapter hahahahaha. Don't worry, the story will just get interesting starting now kekekeke
