Lisa P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning. I was able to open my eyes and see clearly now. I was alone in my room. Well, I didn't really expect anyone to be here though because I live alone and I don't have friends so no one would really care about me. I chuckled softly on my thoughts to hide the hint of sadness I felt when I realized how lonely it was to be alone. I was about to sleep again when I heard someone shout my name.

Chaeyoung P.O.V.

I went to visit Lisa again. It has been a week since the robbery at the plaza and Lisa hasn't woken up yet. I am very thankful to the doctor who saved her. Her name was Dr. Kim, I think. I didn't really see her in person yet. I might've caught a glimpse of her the other day but not enough for me to completely see her face. I have been visiting her everyday. It's kind of sad that I don't see anyone visit her other than me. It must be lonely not having anyone to talk to, to laugh and to be with. Maybe that's why I don't see her smile anymore. Last time I saw her genuinely smile was back in academy. "Something must've happened", I thought. Now I really want to be her friend so that she won't be lonely anymore.

I arrived at the door of her room and lightly knocked twice before opening the door. I was stunned for a moment when I saw her awake. She didn't notice me going in the room as she was very deep in thought. She was about to sleep again so I called her, not realizing that I was shouting her name because I couldn't contain my happiness that she was awake and looked well.

"I was so worried about you, Lisa? You were out for a week!" Lisa's eyes widened. "A week?? Really? What happened to me" She asked. I breathed deeply to calm myself down before starting to explain. "You were shot on the back, twice. It didn't hit important organs or arteries but you lost a lot of blood, especially since it took you a while to realize that you were hit". I emphasized my last sentence while looking at her half-liddedly. She smiled weakly and said, "I'm sorry. I wasn't my top priority at the moment", she laughed a little. I was surprised but felt happy since she's showing a little more emotion than usual. "How's the kid?" She asked me. She must be referring to the kid she rescued. I smile widely and answered, "He's fine. We found his parents the next day and he wanted me to tell you that he's very thankful that you saved him. Also, he wants to be like you when he grows up". Her smile grew a little and I can see small tears forming on her eyes. "Thank you for taking care of the kid, Chaeyoung".

"Just call me Chaeng, Lisa. All my friends call me Chaeng" I said while smiling at her, trying to let her open up to me even just for a bit. She was hesitant then she asked, "Anyway why are you here, Chaeyou-" I cut her off. "Chaeng, Lisa. Just Chaeng. I wouldn't accept anything else." She sighed and started to talk again. "Why are you here, Chaeng?" I smiled again, this time because she called me by my nickname. "To visit you, obviously"

She looked confused. "Why? We're not friends you don't have to waste your time on someone like me." I felt her sadness while she said those words. She didn't want to be alone but she didn't know how not to be. "Well, whether you like it or not, we're friends now and I don't like it when my friends are sad or lonely."

For the first time in a long time, I saw her genuine smile again.
