Lisa P.O.V.

It has been a month.

It's been a month since Jennie and I had breakfast and we haven't gone out since. We've been texting each other but something feels off. She seems a little distant, very different from when we hung out last month. I thought we had something going on after that but I guess I was wrong. I tried inviting her out a few times but she always says that she's busy or tired.

Did I do something wrong to her? I sighed at the thought.

"Are you okay?" Jisoo asked me. She looks worried. I lightly shook my head and gave her a smile. "I'm okay. I was just thinking about... work. No need to worry, Jisoo"

We're currently on our way to have our lunch. I fetched her at the hospital so that we could have lunch together. Jisoo and I have gotten really close during the last month. We went on a few dates too but we've been hanging out like this more often. She's really fun to be with and I feel happy when I'm with her. I'm really happy that she was the one who saved me. I wouldn't have met her if she didn't. It's not like I wouldn't be friends with her if she wasn't my doctor but she easily got my trust after what happened. It's not easy for me to trust people. That's probably why I don't have friends because I'm so afraid of trusting someone then getting hurt by them.

We're now standing inside a restaurant looking at the menu. "Why don't you find us a table while I order food for the both of us?" I told her. She smiled and nodded. "Okay, Lisa get me—" I cut her off. "Chicken? I know, Jisoo don't worry" I chuckled at her. She laughed and walked away, looking around for a table. I can't help but smile when I look at her.

After a few minutes, I got our orders and looked for Jisoo. I saw her waving at me in the corner so I smiled and went to her. We ate our lunch peacefully and happily like we always do. I am still amazed on how much chicken this petite doctor can consume. "Why do you like chicken so much, Jisoo?" I asked her. She thought for a while then shrugged her shoulders and continued eating. I laughed at how childish she could get at times but turn into a complete professional when it comes to work. God she's so sexy when she's serious.

A/N: No one dare slander Jisoo. She is a queen and no one can tell me otherwise. Haters could only be blind and deaf to clown Jisoo and call her talentless.

We finished eating and are on our way back to the hospital. The drive was silent but comfortable and never awkward. I glance at her from time to time and smile. She was bobbing her head cutely and humming to the music playing on my playlist. A cute sight indeed.

I like Jisoo. I do. But I don't think it's enough to ask her to be my girlfriend. I want to be sure of my feelings because I don't want to hurt her, especially since she likes me too; much more than I do.

We stop at the drop off point of the hospital. I hurriedly went down to open the door for her like I always do. I was about to walk her to her office when she held my hand to stop me. "Thank you for the lunch and for bringing me back here but you are almost late for work, Lisa." She said while smiling at me. I didn't want to argue because she was right and I can't afford to lose my job. "You're always welcome. I'd buy you chicken anytime if I get to see that smile every time." I smirked causing her to blush lightly. "I'll be going now, Jisoo. Have a nice day."

"Wait, Lisa!"

"Yes, Jisoo? Do you need anyth—" I was cut off when she kissed me on the cheek. It caught me off guard so I was very slow to react. I can feel the heat on my cheeks as I touched the spot where Jisoo planted a kiss.

"Take care, Lisa." She smiled sweetly and dashed to the hospital. I was still stunned from what happened when I felt like someone was watching me. I furrowed my brows and looked around but found nothing. Am I really getting paranoid? I simply sighed and went inside my car then drove off to the station.

I got to the station and lightly tapped my cheeks twice and cleared my mind.

I saw Chaeng which made me smile as I quickly ran towards her. "Hi Chaeng!"

"Hey Lisa! Just in time. I got a new case for you."
