Chaeyoung's P.O.V.

I got out of my car as soon as we arrived and walked towards the house with my gun in hand. I have three guys behind me and the rest are waiting beside their vehicles. We stopped when the door opened and revealed two figures walking slowly.

"Lisa!" I ran towards them when I recognized her. She was being supported by another woman. A beautiful woman I must say. She does look strangely familiar and I don't know why. Maybe I've seen her somewhere but that's not important now. My attention went back to Lisa when I got nearer and gasped at her state.

"What the hell happened to you, Lisa?!" I almost shouted at her while taking her other arm to support her. Thank God I called for medical backup too. We walked towards the ambulance and let her sit there while the medical team attended to her wounds. I then saw the woman crossed her arms over her chest and shook after she got separated with Lisa. "Miss, are you okay?" I asked her, wrapping her in a blanket. She slightly nodded but continued to look down. I was about to take her to my car when Lisa called me. She stood up and walked towards us. She then faced the woman and smiled softly.

"Jennie, this is Officer Park. I want you to tell her everything you know about what happened tonight. Don't be scared. She is my dear friend so you can trust her as much as you trust me. I know she'll take care of you, won't you Chaeng?" Lisa turned to me after saying that. I nodded at her so she smiled at me before turning back to Jennie. "I'll go to you right after getting treated, okay? I don't need it actually but Officer Park here will give me a good scolding if I don't get myself treated."

I scoffed, "Of course I will get mad if you don't. Look at yourself! After I take care of Jennie be ready to explain yourself, Officer Manoban."

I turned to Jennie and gave her a comforting smile before asking, "Your name's Jennie, right?" She quickly nodded so I added, "Okay wanna go sit somewhere comfortable so that you can tell me what you can about tonight?" She nodded again so I gently wrapped my arm around her shoulder and guided her towards my car.

Jisoo P.O.V.

I am finally on my way home. Taking 3 dogs to the vet is no easy task. These dogs are lucky I love them too much that I don't mind doing this for them.

I am having a weird feeling though. I don't know what it is or what caused it. Am I nervous? Why would I be nervous?

I can hear faint police sirens but didn't gave it much thought until I realized that it's growing louder as I get closer to our house.

Okay, now I'm nervous. I sped up slightly while trying not to think of bad things. "Jennie is alone at our house right now. She would call if something was wrong. Right. She would. Nothing to nervous about." I kept thinking until I arrived at close to our house. I felt my breath stop and my heart pounding loudly.

Why are there police cars around our house?

I couldn't move my body but my eyes scanned from left to right. Not actually sure what I'm looking for until I saw a woman sitting in a car while talking to a cop. My brain clicked and I felt my body move on its own. I got out of the car and ran towards the scared girl wrapped in a blanket. I can already feel my tears flowing down my cheeks as I got nearer. She saw me and immediately stood up, tearing up as well. I quickly wrapped her in a hug, sighing in relief that she's okay.

"Thank God you're okay, Jen!" I kissed her temple and broke the hug. "What happened here? Are you okay? Are you hurt? Why didn't you call me?" I looked at her while waiting for her answer but she just hugged me again and sobbed.

"Good evening ma'am, I am Officer Park. Are you related to Jennie?" The cop asked me. I forgot about her since I was so focused on Jennie. "Yes, I am her sister Dr. Kim Jisoo. Can you please tell me what happened?"
