Me and Lisa went to our captain's room to be briefed about a new case. It's a good thing that we're friends now, we can work better together. We gave a salute as we went in the room.
"Good afternoon Captain Namjoon"

He gave a salute back and smiled. "Good afternoon Officer Park and Officer Manoban. Have a seat."
So we sat down and he gave both of us the files for the case. "There has been a robbery last night from Seoul Plaza last night. No prints or any form of identification was found in the area so we don't have any leads as of now." Captain Namjoon started.
Seoul Plaza. The same plaza where Lisa was shot. I hope she's okay going back to that place. I can ask her about it later, I should focus first on this briefing. "How much was stolen, cap?" He furrowed his brows a bit before answering. "That's the thing, no money or goods from any store was stolen; only a whole month of CCTV footage. Footage from two months ago to be exact."
What a weird case indeed. Why would anyone steal CCTV footage? Old ones even. Weird.
A knock on the door interrupted us. "Captain, there's an update on the prison breakout last week. We need to discuss it now." the officer who went in said. Captain Namjoon nodded then stood up. "Well all you need to know are in the files on the table. You can go to the plaza anytime if you need more information about the incident. There might not be money involved but CCTV footage are very important for the security of the plaza so I hope you can get to the bottom of this."
Lisa and I stood up and gave a salute. "We will cap. We'll find whoever did this." He smiled at us and allowed us to leave. We got out of the office and went to our tables. Lisa was about to say something but I stopped her. "Lisa before we discuss further about this case, I want to ask you something. This was the same plaza where you were shot two months ago. I know the memories are still fresh. Are you sure you're okay with handling this case? I can ask the captain to give me a different partner for this case if you're uncomfortable with it." I worriedly asked her. She just chuckled and smiled at me. "Thank you for always worrying about me Chaeng. I'm so happy that I have a friend like you. I have to admit that I have been a little brighter ever since we became friends and that happened because of the accident so I can say that I have moved on from that. I'm perfectly fine with this case, especially since I'll be with you through it."
I can feel my eyes getting wet because of what she said. I'm an emotional person. Even just good food can make me cry. I remember eating pho with Lisa and I almost cried because it was so good.
I hugged her really tight while trying not to cry. "I was just asking if you're okay I didn't ask you to make me cry Lisa." I playfully slapped her arm and she laughed at me for almost crying. I sniffed for the last time and composed myself, "Okay now that we've established that you're okay with it, let's start discussing. Any ideas why someone would steal two-month old CCTV footage?"
