Lisa P.O.V.
I opened my eyes and woke up to a sleeping kitten on top of me and two pairs of teasing eyes.
"So do you want us to go or..?" Chaeyoung asked while wriggling her eyebrows at me and Jisoo trying to hold her laugh. I quickly raised my hand to silence them but ended up waking the sleeping beauty in my arms. Jennie scrunched her nose in the cutest possible way as she slowly opened her eyes and met my gaze. She smiled and rested her chin on my chest. "Good morning, Lili." she greeted me with her gummy smile which made me smile back instantly, "Good morning, Nini."
"GOOD MORNING, DR. KIM." Jisoo and Chaeng greeted mockingly which made Jennie almost jump out of her skin and turn her head as fast as she can to see the two snickering girls who were with us.
"Why-- what are you doing here???" The angry kitten asked them as they were still laughing at us. "We were just checking up on Lisa but obVioUslY, she's doing just great." Jisoo teasingly answered Jennie which made her more annoyed at her sister. Chaeng shook her head and turned her attention to me, "How are you feeling, Lisa?"
"I'm feeling a lot better. Alive, thanks to you. You saved me there, Chaeng." I told her with a grateful smile.
"Hey you could be in the middle of a desert and I'll still save your ass." The chipmunk smugly said which made me laugh then remember the question floating in my head since yesterday.
"By the way, how did you find me?"
"Well...." Chaeng started.
Flashback after Lisa got the call~
Jisoo P.O.V.
"DON'T YOU DARE HURT JENNIE--" Lisa suddenly stopped shouting at her phone, the call was probably ended by the caller abruptly. Jennie? Jennie's in danger? I'm so worried for my sister and already looking for answers when Lisa grabbed my shoulders, worry evident on her face. "Jisoo, listen to me carefully. Jennie was kidnapped and held hostage but I swear I'll save her just please, please don't tell anyone so they won't hurt Jennie. I'll save her even if it's the last thing I do. Be safe, Jisoo." Lisa rushed out even before I could utter a word. I have a very bad feeling about this. Lisa would do everything to save her, probably lay her life on the line.
No...
Lisa can't...
I have to do something. But she said not to tell anyone. But she needs help. Who could I trust that could help--
I remember someone and immediately rush out to my car while dialing the police station on my phone.
"Hello? This is Kim Jisoo, can I please talk to Officer Park Chaeyoung?" I waited for a moment until the officer finally picked up the line. "Hello? Kim Jisoo?"
"Officer Park, meet me outside the station. I'm already close. Please."
End of Flashback
Third Person P.O.V.
Jisoo showed an apologetic smile as it was revealed that she didn't do what Lisa wanted her to do.
"So you see, this little one save your life twice." Chaeng said while patting Jisoo's head like a little kid as she finished explaining, earning a glare from Jisoo which made her take back her hand and chuckle nervously.
"Look, I already knew Jisoo told you. No one else could possibly have," Lisa turned to Jisoo with a grateful smile, "Thank you for having better judgement than me and contacting Chaeng," then
Lisa faced her colleague once more, "But still, how did you find my location?"
"Oh easy. I traced your phone's location," the older cop answered proudly which made the younger shake her head. "Thank God I didn't turn off my phone then."
"Thank you, both of you. You saved our lives." Jennie finally spoke after everything was said.
"Oh shush. Lisa would do the same for me." Chaeng said which made Lisa smile. "Of course, I would."
Lisa then turn her head to smile at Jennie as the kitten locked eyes with her, getting wrapped in their own bubble. Chaeng eyed Jisoo, noticing a sad smile on her face. She then took Jisoo's hand and tugged on it. "Now then, we'll leave you be. I promised a certain doctor lunch for helping me save my best friend." Chaeng stated which made the older doctor widen her eyes and before she could even protest, Chaeyound was already dragging her towards the door. "Bye, you too!" She exclaimed as they got out of the room and closed the door.
"You didn't promise me anything?" Jisoo asked confusedly.
"Well I did now. Would you rather stay there and watch them?" Chaeng asked that made the latter lower her head. "I thought so. Besides if you don't want to, it's okay. I'll just eat some chicken by-"
"Chicken?! Let's go!" Jisoo bounced excitedly, now dragging the blonde cop. Chaeng could only laugh at the smiling Jisoo, noticing her beautiful smile.
"Thank you, Chaeng." Jisoo whispered softly, getting shy of her actions.
"Anything for that beautiful smile, Jisoo."
Not expecting that compliment, the doctor blushed shyly as they made their way.

Finally and update!! Hahahhaa sorey about that but I promise I have been working on this. We're approaching the end now and I just want to thank you all for hanging tight. Maybe 2-3 updates left and we're done. I wanted to finish this update before my birthday last August 31st but I didnt want the update to be a forced one so I just let it go. I aim to finish this by this month so stay tuned 💕
