I sit up drenched in sweat breathing heavily. I look outside and feel chills remembering the dragon that killed me only moments ago.
"Lady Stark." I jump and see Tywin.
"My apologies lord Tywin." I say bowing my head.
"The master said that you passed out due to improper treatment of your wounds." I furrowed my eyebrows.
"There was a new master, he must have been nervous... humor me my lord, it was the black dread who destroyed this castle wasn't it?" I ask
"Yes it was, why do you ask?"
"I had a strange dream, I was in the court yard and there were people running for their lives and then a dragon as dark as night came down with a rider, then I burned." I say nervously. Tywin nods rather uninterested in my dream.
"I'll get someone to draw you some water so that you can bathe, you've been out for two days." He stands then leaves the room without another word.
A few moments later there's a knock on my door. I slowly get up and open it slightly and see Arya. I keep my face impassive.
"I brought you some water my lady." She says I open the door wider so that she can bring it inside. I walk to the dividing screen and start to undress.
"So, why are you at harrenhal?" I ask sliding into the tub.
"I was with the knights watch-" I give her a stern look.
"Arya Stark, I do believe that I told Yoren to watch after you, so where is he?" I ask.
"Dead." She replies. I sigh and smile at her.
"I'm happy to see that your not dead, so I've heard that your serving the old lion now." I jest.
"And I heard that your fucking him." She shoots back. I laugh loudly.
"No, Arya I'm here because the less scars the better. And nobody here dare touch the key to the North. And besides, Cuana likes to stay near."
"Call me Arry." I nod and brush aside some of her hair.
"You'd better go before people start to think that I fuck little girls." She scoffs.
"Like you could ever get me."
"That's the spirit kid."
The next few days I look over battle plans and make some minor changes that hopefully won't hurt Robb too much but will also be big enough to keep me around. On the 10 week that I've been there I was dining with Tywin who requested that I eat with him so that he can discuss some matters with me.
"Have you ever met Roose Bolton Lyanna?" Tywin asks.
"No, but I've met his sons Domeric and Ramsay, handsome boys, Ramsay is a bit of a puzzle though." I add thoughtfully remembering him.
"Yes well, I'm meeting with Roose, and he has discussed a union between house Stark and his own." I stare at the man.
"So house Bolton is going to betray my brother and become warden of the North, you legitimize his son, Ramsay, marry me off to One of them so that the North won't panic as much because there's a stark still beside the man in power."
"That's the essence of the plan."
"And... the Freys? Am I correct?" I ask Tywin says nothing but his eyes tell me everything. "So when is Roose going to come here?"
"With in the next few days."
"Smart, you know that I would need at least five days to plan and get ready for any type of escape. It almost makes me like you." I say lightly drinking more of the wine.
"I'm letting you marry a man your own age, letting you go back home, I let you come here, and I haven't locked you up for plotting to kill the king."
"That's right! I should build you a shrine so that I can worship these great deeds day and night, the lion who is so kind as to let me go home but is also plotting the ruin of my house, the saviour of a little wolf who was getting flogged by your grandson, who also took my father's head." I sing in a dramatic voice, the wine was doing most of the talking for me at this point. "Now for a name, what shall I call you? The lord of mercy? The king of the downtrodden? Ohh or the saviour of the reincarnated wolf. I do like that one." I gush. I see a faint smile on Tywin face. I stand up and set down the wine glass, "Now, I'm going to the weirwood. I'll take 2 guards that seem strong and fast. Good night Tywin." He nods at my leave.
I walk to one of the first guards I see. "Excuse me, would you mind coming with me to the weirwood? I need an escort because I'm a flight risk." I say honestly. He smiles.
"A man will go with you." I tilt my head at the sound of his voice. It was a pleasant surprise for me. I grab one more guard and hop on a horse and go to the tree. I kneel by the face of the tree and touch its face, at first it looked angry and threatening. But now that I look at it more I can see that it was more confused and rather frightened itself. I look at the foreign guard.
"What's your name?" I ask.
"Jaqen H'ghar my lady."
"And what do you believe in Jaqen?"
"A man believes in the new gods." He says. I frown
"You lie, the truth."
"A man believes in the many faced god." He replies.
"I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the many faced god."
"You are more familiar than you think My lady." I stare at this man curiously.
"I'm not your lady, the correct way to address me would be Lady Lyanna, or Lady Stark. And would this... many faced god be a god of death? That is the only constant I can think of in any religion." I state.
"A girl is smart." I smile and gently laugh.
"I was once taught by a first sword of bravos that there is only one god, and his name is death. I of course being stubborn stick with my old gods, but I'm open to hearing about new religions." I take my hand from the trees face and see the blood red sap on my fingers. I stare at it with interest, this has never happened before. I slowly put the sap on my mouth and nearly gag, it tasted horrible, but after a second the taste turned into a very good one like the best wine. I open my eyes and see Jaqen looking confused but I shrug it off and walk to my horse.
