The wall was actually quite fun, sure there were a few duties for me to take care of but it was mostly just catching up with my family and getting to know some new people, one of these people being Tormund Giantsbane. As unfortunate as it was Talion seemed to like him and I can't just take them apart for no reason seeing as how Tormund was really good with him and it gave me a rest. In all honesty I could never be truly happy at this pile of ice, there was still so much unfinished business to take care of back home where I belong in winterfell, we have broken our promise to always keep our blood within those walls and we are paying dearly for it.

"Ly, we've got a letter" Jon whispers as I set down Talion.

"We?" I look at him with uncertainty.

"Your loving husband." he replies, my eyes shoot to the letter where I can clearly see the flayed man. I nod my head and follow him to the council room where I see Sansa and the rest of the trustees. We were all so tense about this letter that it was almost hard to breath.

"So shall you read it or I? I asked, breaking the silence.

"I will." Jon looked apprehensive about the whole thing. I nod and try to get comfortable.

" To the traitor and bastard Jon Snow, you allowed thousands of wildlings past the wall. You have betrayed your own kind and you have betrayed the north. Winterfell is mine bastard come and see. Your brother Rickon is in my dungeon, his direwolf's skin is on my floor, come and see. I want my bride back. Send her to me, bastard, and I will not trouble you or your wildling lovers. Keep her from me and I will ride north to slaughter every wildling man woman and babe living under your protection. You will watch as I skin them living. You will watch as my soldiers." Jon takes a pause and sets down the letter. I snatch it and walk to the other side of the room so he can't reach for it.

" You will watch as my soldiers take turns raping your sisters. You will watch as my dogs devout your wild little brother. Then I will spoon the eyes from their sockets and let my dogs eat all the rest come and see. Ramsay Bolton, lord of winterfell and warden if the north." When I finish I toss the letter into the flames. Seething with hate. What has ever possessed me to even like that man is mind boggling.

"So I guess we will be seeing your husband." Brienne sighs

"There's no way we are letting her go." Jon growls

"Well it's a good thing that you will be coming to then Jon, as will Talion, even if Ramsay is a complete cunt he still is entitled to see his son and at least hold him before he dies." I brush off the non existent dirt from my dress. "We ride later today as long as you ladies are up for it." I left the room and got myself and my child ready for the long ride ahead of us.

It was snowing and the wind was whipping the flayed man's banners. I get chills down my spine knowing that this monster of a man is right there. I'm just glad that Talion was asleep so as to not see my fear. I was unbelievably anxious during the whole conversation between Jon and Ramsay.

"Now tell me, where is my beautiful wife?" Ramsay asked

I slowly take off my hood and smile at him. "Husband." I reply respectfully. I look at Jon and hand him the reins of my horse. "Get off your horse Lord Bolton and greet your son." Ramsay looked taken back but dismounted. I walked no more then five yards from the party, staring at us.

"What a joyous occasion, a family restored." Ramsay took our child into his arms and smiled genuinely. I didn't know what to do. My heart softened at the sight of the man who I thought would have been an amazing father, my fantasy flashed through my mind for a second. I was almost convinced that we could have been a happy family... like my mother and father were their secret smiles, stolen kisses and touches when they thought nobody was looking. I may not know much about a love match but that's the closest thing that I think I will ever see to one. Ramsay looked at me with those damned eyes that could change from something horrifying to something sweet and loving. But looks can be deceiving. I snatched Talion back from his hands.

"You'll die tomorrow dear husband, I hope you sleep well." I got back onto my horse and rode towards the camp.
