Hayley's POV

The sound of the doorbell could be heard from downstairs. I heard faint voices and Shane screeching. A few minutes later, there was a knock on Shane's bedroom door and Andrew came in with the camera, followed by Shane.

"Come on downstaaaiiirs," Shane held out his hand to motion to me to go with him as he smiled goofily and walked me downstairs, Andrew going first.

Halfway down, Shane stopped me and pulled out a sleeping mask.

"Here, put this on," Shane handed me the mask and I held it for moment, confused.

"Shane, I'm gonna fall down the fucking stairs," I told him as I put on the mask.

"Oh come on," Shane said as someone grabbed my hand to help me. "You trust Andrew with your life, riiiight?"

"Weeeeell," I said, making Andrew and Shane laugh. Andrew led me downstairs and we all stopped somewhere in the living room.

"Hayley, say hello to...." Shane grabbed the mask and pulled it off. "Joseph Morgan!"

I screamed quickly and fell to my knees, crying happily. Joseph walked over and took my hands, helping me back to my feet.

"Hi Hayley," Joseph said.

"I am sooo sorry," I apologized.

"No no no, you're fine," Joseph replied. "You can call me Jo, if you want."

I was still shaking as we all sat down. "Hi," I said, still in total shock of the moment.

》2 hours later 》

Shane left me outside with Jo to say our goodbyes. I get that he's married and all, but has that ever stopped anyone from having a celebrity crush? No. Clearly, Shane knew about that and told Jo, because he was fake flirting all night.

As we said goodbye, Jo kissed my hand and I waved him off. He got in his Uber and went home. But in the corner of my eye, I swear I saw Andrew look away when Jo made the gesture. Is he jealous?

I walked back inside and Shane squealed. "So, what did you think of your first Shane surprise?"

"Uh, overwhelming," I joked, making Shane and Garrett laugh. "No, but really, it was great. Thank you guys so much for that, really."

"Aww," Shane hugged me. He let go and then jumped up in the air. "Welcome to the squad, Hayley!"

All of us laughed and talked the rest of the night away. Shane, Ryland, Garrett, and Andrew were all in the living room, and I was in the kitchen grabbing a Diet Coke. I opened it and took a sip, sitting on top of the counter, thinking about everything that had happened that day.

Andrew walked in, the camera finally off for the night, and opened the fridge in search of a Diet Root Beer. He grabbed one, then turned around to see me. "Hey Hayley."

"Hey Andrew. I, uh.... I've been meaning to talk to you," I said.

"What's up?" He took a drink of his soda and sat on the counter across from me.

"I-... god, this is awkward. But I saw you earlier tonight through the window. When Jo kissed my hand, you looked away, didn't you?" I asked.

Andrew got a bit flustered. "I uh, yeah. I did. Why do you ask?" He nervously scratched the back of his neck.

"You know he's married, right?"

Andrew nearly spat out his mouthful of Diet A&W. He swallowed it roughly. "He is?" I nodded. Andrew looked away and whispered to himself, "Oh shit."

"Andrew... were you.... jealous?" I asked.

Andrew's POV

I felt myself turn bright red. I know that I had only just met Hayley, but I knew there was something about her.

"Hayley, I um... I get that we just met today, but I just felt a connection here. I feel like we ran into each other for a reason and I just.... I just think we have something. Or will have something, can have something... I really don't know what it is about you, but my heart just tells me that I need you in my life. That's why I kept looking at you in Starbucks and why Ikept looking away when Jo helped you up or kissed your hand or flirted with you. I couldn't watch someone else charm you the way I never could. And I want you to know how I really feel. And.... this is how I feel:"

I set my can of Diet Root Beer on the counter next to me and jumped down. I made a very bold move.

I kissed her.
