Throughout dinner, I knew Brendon and Andrew were exchanging angry glares. Once dinner was over, we all sat around the Christmas tree to open our one present.

Dylan's was a new toy car, Shane's was a mug that said "tea", Ryland's was new seat covers for his G, Andrew's was some t-shirt, Garrett's was a Harry Potter house shot glass collection, Anna's was a new coffee mug that said "nope", Ryan's was a shirt, Morgan's was a new set of sunglasses, mine was a new phone case and Brendon's was a very expensive watch.

Somehow, Shane managed to find everyone a place to sleep at his house. There was the now dog-hair-free couch, which Brendon and I took, some blow up mattresses in the office for Anna, Ryan and Dylan, and another air mattress for Garrett and Andrew in Shane's room. Morgan took the little couch in Shane's room.

As Brendon and I laid down, he hugged me close to him. "I love you."

"I love you too, B."

Eventually, Brendon fell asleep. I got up to get a glass of water and heard someone walk downstairs. They walked through the living and into the kitchen.

"So, now you're fucking your best friend?" Andrew asked.

"Fuck you, Andrew," I said, quickly spinning around to look at him.

"No, fuck Brendon. It's apparently all you've been doing since you cheated on me with him, isn't it?"

"I never cheated on you, you asshole!" I set down my empty glass and rage filled me. "You just made that shit up to get pissed off. At the time, he and I were only two friends who reunited after a few years. Now get over the fact that you left me and that Brendon and I love each other. God, you're such a jealous jerk."

"Even if you don't love me, I still love you. I'm just upset that you choose him over me." Andrew quickly grabbed my face and kissed me.

I shoved him away. "Ugh! You sick bastard!" I wiped my lips off and then accidently backed up into someone else. I look to see that Brendon was watching the whole time. Brendon stepped in front of me and looked Andrew in the eye.

"Let's take this outside."

They walked outside, and I outside stood by the door to see what was about to happen. Andrew took the first swing, hitting Brendon right in the jaw.

They punched each other for a few minutes until Brendon had Andrew pinned against the wall of the house. "Enough, Brendon," I told him. "I think he gets it."

"I told you to leave her alone, Andrew. Next time you don't listen...." Brendon threatened. We left Andrew outside and walked back to the couch. Andrew stormed back upstairs as we laid down.

On Christmas Eve, my boyfriend got into a fight with my ex, but at least I fell asleep in his warm, protective arms.

The next morning, Brendon woke me up lightly and quietly. Everyone else was still sleeping. Brendon whispered to me, "Come on. There's something I want you to see."

I stood up and he held my hand, leading me to the window by the front door. I rubbed my eyes and saw there was something miraculous outside. Snow.

It was definitely a cold December, but I don't ever remember one time when there was able in LA. Brendon walked me outside and held me close to him.

"It's snowing."

"Yeah. I figured you would want to see it," Brendon said.

"Well, you were right."

"When am I wrong?"

I kissed him sweetly in the snowy, morning cold. I had many things to tell him, but I could only say one at the moment. "I love you, Brendon."

"And I love you too."
