By mid-December, Brendon and I were still together and everything was going really well. It was almost Christmas and my sister had called me, asking if she can come over for Christmas with her family.

I told her I would love that and there was someone I wanted her to meet. They would be here in 2 days as of today, the 22nd. Shane invited us over to his place for Christmas and said Anna (my sister) was welcome too.

There was one downside to spending Christmas with Shane though; Andrew was going to be there. We haven't talked since the breakup other than the one angry phone call, and it's been really awkward to be around Shane. But at least Morgan, Anna, and Brendon would be there with me and for me.

I spent the days making cookies and brownies, and of course, Brendon spent the days helping me. On the 21st, my doorbell rang.

I opened the door and found my blonde sister, her husband and son waiting there. "Anna!" I hugged my sister, then my brother-in-law Ryan. I picked up their 5 year old son Dylan. "Hey buddy!"

"Hi Auntie Hayley!" Dylan said as I ruffled his pure blonde hair, which matched his mother's.

"Come on in, you guys," I waved in Anna and Ryan, and they walked into my house, which was littered with Christmas decor. "I want you guys to meet my boyfriend."

I put Dylan back down and Anna took his coat off. They hung up their coats in the coat closet and waited for me to call in my "mysterious" boyfriend.

"Brendon! My sister's here!" I called upstairs. I heard a door close and watched as Brendon hogged down the stairs.

He walked up to my family and shook Anna's hand first. "Brendon Urie. You must be Anna. I've heard lots about you." He then shook Ryan's hand. "And you must be Ryan."

"Great to meet you, Brendon," Ryan said with a smile. Ryan knelt down by Dylan, and so did Brendon. "Dylan, this is Brendon."

"Hi Dylan," Brendon said to my nephew. Dylan instantly hugged Brendon around the neck and Brendon laughed.

Brendon stood up and held onto Dylan. He pryed him off and held him in the air. He made airplane sounds and ran him around the room, eventually plopping him down on the couch.

Dylan laughed and I smiled. I really did love Brendon, he was great with everybody. Especially Dylan. How was he so good with kids?

We talked for hours and then I heard my phone ring. Brendon's song played, then I answered it. "Hello?"

"Hey Hayley."

"Hey Shane. What's up?"

"Your sister is coming over today, right?" Shane asked.

"Uh, yeah. She's already here."

"Oh, cool. You guys can come over whenever you want. We're opening one present each tonight and the rest tomorrow. Ryland also made a big dinner for everyone, too."

"Alright. Cool. See you in about 20 minutes?"

"Yeah. Bye."

"Bye." I hung up and stood up from my spot on the couch. "Okay, that was Shane on the phone and he said he's ready for us. Let's get going."

Everyone grabbed their coats and headed out the door. We drove over to Shane's house, Anna following behind us in her car.

We parked our cars and walked up to the door, carrying a bunch of presents. Shane opened the door and said, "Oh my god, that's a lot of presents."

He took a few from me and the five of us walked inside. We added to the mountain of presents under the tree and Ryland almost instantly fell in love with Dylan. By the time we started dinner, Ryland accepted Dylan as his own son.

Then, the doorbell rang. Shane answered the door and in walked my only problem. Andrew.
