Hayley's POV

The longer I was in Dallon's car, the longer I spiraled into my thoughts about Brendon. I felt like every inch of my world stopped moving when he said those last words to me. And when I left him with the ring, the oxygen was sucked from the atmosphere.

As if nothing was left for me to hold on to. I had grown numb, but only to the happy things. We had passed restaurants and parks that I used to love, but the only reason I did was because Brendon was there with me, making my best memories. But were they even the best anymore? Could they be? ..........Should they be?

As soon as we arrived at Shane's house, I got out of the car, but everything felt like it was in slow motion. The wind blew my hair out of my face as the first of many tears fell. I knocked on the door, not even noticing Dallon was with me.

The door was opened, and before I had the chance to see who it was, I wrapped my arms around them and started crying heavily. I felt them jump as I hugged them, then felt a hand on my back. "Oh my god, Hayley? Shane! Guys! Get in here!" A familiar voice yelled. "Hayley, oh my god, are you okay? What happened?"

Dallon's POV

Three guys and a girl ran into the room from what I assumed was the kitchen. I recognized two people, Andrew and Morgan. The tall guy Hayley was clinging to walked her over to their grey couch. Morgan saw me first as she walked by the door. "Dallon, come on in. I d-.... Hayley! Oh my god!"

I walked inside and closed the door. I ran over to the couch with everyone else and sat down by Hayley. The tall blonde with glasses was on her left, and the other four were on my right. Hayley huggedthe blonde for a while during the conversation.

"Dallon, what the hell happened? Where's Brendon?" Andrew questioned.

"Andrew, there's something you should know first. It was this big thing on Twitter and-"

"It was true? Please don't tell me it was true. I defended her because I didn't want a fake rumor to go around. But Dallon-," Andrew cut himself off by seeing the expression on my face. His head dropped into his hands.

"Wait-, what the hell happened? What 'big thing' on Twitter?" The redhead asked.

"Shane.... Hayley was.... She...." Andrew couldn't say it. I knew it bothered him because Hayley was his ex, but he still loved her. So I suppose it was up to me to say it.

"She was raped at a party," I said, then sighed, feeling ready to start crying.

Shane, Morgan and the last guy gasped. Tears were building in Shane's eyes and Morgan's, and the third guy was covering his mouth in shock. "Oh my god..... Hayley was....." Shane said.

"Yeah," I told them. "And then somehow the news got to an ex band mate of his, Ryan, and then Ryan Tweeted about it. And Andrew stepped in to shut him down, but Andrew didn't know that it was true until now. All of that got Brendon really pissed off at Ryan and then earlier tonight-...." I stopped for a minute when Hayley wrapped her arms around me, crying onto my shirt. "Earlier tonight, Brendon and his buddy Dan went to Ryan's house and they got into a fight. I don't know how it went because Brendon had me stay at his place to make sure Hayley wasn't alone. When they got back, Hayley and I were just in the living room talking, and she saw Brendon's black eye and all that. They got into a fight and Brnedon said the wrong thi-"

Hayley was sitting up now. She interrupted me, "Brendon said that I'm so stubborn and that's why we broke up last time."

The last guy gasped. "No! You don't say that! Are you fucking serious?"

"Yeah, Ryland. And I...... I gave him his ring back."

Shane gasped. "Oh my god, Hayley, that's horrible! I'm so fucking sorry." Shane stood up and hugged her.

"Hayley, I can't believe he said that to you. Oh my god." Garrett hugged her, then Ryland, Andrew and Morgan. Hayley sat back down by me and hugged me again.

The rest of the night, Hayley didn't let me leave her side, and not a whole lot much was left to be said. By anyone.
