Brendon's POV

"No..... Hayley, its not true. Tell me he's lying. Please." I said. Hayley sat up next to me and looked me in the eyes. She didn't need to say anything to verify that it was true. "No no no. No. No. NO!! I should've been there!"

I stood up and paced around quickly, rage buiding up inside me. "Brendon, there's n-"

"I should've gone with you to that fuckin party! I told myself you couldn't go alone, but I just let you walk right the fuck out! This is all my fault!" I ran a hand through my hair and leaned my forehead against the wall with my eyes closed.

"Don't blame yourself for this, Brenny. Not everything that happens to me is your fault." Hayley approached me, but realized I didn't want her to.

"Whether it's my fault of not, Hayley, you got hurt and I couldn't be there!" I raised my voice again. I punched the wall and hesitated before sighing. "I just hate seeing you get hurt."

Hayley placed her hand on my shoulder and I turned my head to look at her. Her sad eyes weakened me. I let my shields down for a moment.

"Hayley...." I hugged her tightly. I didn't want to let her go. I never would again. Never.

> three days later >

I turned on the tv and sipped my coffee. The news reporter was talking about the weather, when it suddenly changed over to celebrity news. After a few boring stories, they said this:

"Recently, word slipped and blew up across social media about Brendon Urie and his bride to be, Hayley Thompson."

"Hayley! Come in here!" I called her in quickly. She ran in from the kitchen and I pointed to the tv.

"A simple party let to a tragic event for the young celebrity couple. Posted on Twitter by Ryan Ross, Hayley was allegedly raped at a party by a drunk man. Andrew Siwicki tweeted back to Ryan Ross that he should quote, 'keep his nose out of business that isn't his' &quote, along with, quote, 'drop the story because it isn't yours to tell.' No one has heard anything more of the alleged rape story from Hayley or her fiance, but once we hear more, we will keep you updated. Kyle, back to you."

Hayley stood there with her jaw dropped and fear in her eyes. She dropped the plastic cup of water and a single tear escaped her eye. I jumped to my feet and wrapped my arm around her waist. Hayley immediately nuzzled her face into my chest and I held her there as she cried in anger and fear.

"Hayley, I'm so sorry. I don't know how Ryan found out, it was none of his business. We'll clear all of this up, I promise. No one needs to know unless you're ready."

Hayley kept crying and I didn't know what else I could do to help her. I only thought of one thing I could do, but I couldn't let Hayley know about it.

That night, after Hayley was asleep, I had a good friend of mine, Dallon Weekes, stay at the house with Hayley. Dan arrived at the house and picked me up, driving towards Ryan's house.

It probably is not a good idea at all to do this, but somebody has to. Even if that means me. Dan, Panic!'s drummer, is also risking his career by helping me with this, but I tried to talk him out of it unsuccessfully.

I know what I'm doing is going to get me into a lot of shit if it goes wrong, and could ruin my whole career, but I just have this urge. As if I had been meaning to do this after everything.

I mean, Ryan and I have been arguing and hating each other for so long, it has just been tearing us farther apart and we need to be rid of each other completely at this point.

I shouldn't do this, but you know what? Fuck it.

I'm gonna go get in a fight with Ryan god damn Ross.
