A WEEK LATER
Adora
I opened the doors to Santiago's building, grinning as soon as my eyes landed on his receptionist.
"Hi," I greeted, smiling.
"Hey, Adora," she greeted, "I'm assuming you're going to see Santiago?"
"Mm hmm," I said.
"You know where he's at," she said, "I'll even tell people he's not available at the moment."
I giggled. "Thank you."
I walked over to the elevator and pressed the button. I felt like I fit in- pencil skirt, blouse tucked in, black heels, my hair falling down my back in loose curls.
I stepped in the elevator as soon as it made it to me, pressing the top floor button.
The elevators moved so quickly in here.
I stepped out of the elevator as soon as I made it to Santiago's floor, the first thing I saw being Victoria.
"Hi, Victoria," I greeted.
"I'm leaving for lunch, you two have a play day," she said, giggling as she rested a hand on my shoulder as she brushed past me.
I knocked on Santiago's steel doors that were open, cocking my head over at the sight of him working.
He looked up and a smile pulled the corners of his lips up. "Hey, baby."
I walked inside and closed his doors behind me, placing my purse on the couch.
"Oh my goodness, it feels like it's been years since I've seen your arm out of the sling!" I squealed, launching myself at him as soon as he stood up.
He chuckled, pressing a kiss to my neck.
"How did your appointment go?" I asked.
"It went good," he said, "I actually just got here not too long ago. I had to go home and change, you know. How was your morning?"
"Good," I said, smiling as he sat back down in his chair, "John and Elizabeth are moving in together."
"Wow, how nice," he said, nodding his head with a smile.
"So," I said, "in honor of you getting your sling off, I got a present for you."
"Yeah, like what?" He asked, folding his arms on his desk as he leaned forward.
I braced my hands on the solid surface in front of me, making sure my cleavage was on full view. "Maybe you'll have to unwrap it."
He just grinned and I smiled, leaning off of the desk.
"I should probably show you the new underwear I got," I said, biting down on my bottom lip with a grin as I pulled my skirt up slowly.
He looked eager to see, his hands folded together in front of his mouth.
I pulled it up to my pelvic region, so he could see that I in fact was not wearing any underwear.
"Oh, I must've forgotten to put them on," I said, "my bad."
He stood up and I pushed my skirt down, giggling as I backed away from him.
"I would so act on this right now," he said, pushing me against the window, "but Victoria's here."
I grinned, running my fingertip up his bicep. "No she's not. She left for lunch."
He just sighed. "Well in that case."
