The girl's chocolate eyes nearly popped out of her head upon hearing the ridiculous accusation. How does he think she would manage to seduce a stranger and jump his bones, all in the span of five minutes? Moreover, why would it piss him off considering he made the bet?

And to think it's not so long ago he said you're frigid. Her mind revived Max's words and she couldn't suppress a smirk. He certainly doesn't seem to think so now.

"I asked you a fucking question." The veins on Max's neck were in danger of bursting and his long fingers tightened their grip. Not enough to cut off her air supply completely, however, enough to make her vision go blurry.

Deya felt a tingling sensation spreading through her body as she struggled to keep her arms on sides. This is it. She finally managed to make Max snap, and there is little separating her from her goal.

"Fuck. You." She mouthed inaudibly without breaking eye contact. This was the moment she was preparing for for the last three years.

Max's eyes narrowed into slits, giving him and even more murderous appearance, before his hands took the privilege of breathing away from the girl. For a few seconds, her miserable body trashed in his hold as self-preservation kicked in. This is what you wanted. She tried to reason with it, but her body seemed to not understand.

The world around her was slowly fading out in black and there was unknown pressure building inside her head, as if it was about to explode.

Is this how she felt?

Deya's body ceased moving immediately as she pictured her mother fastening the rope around her neck.

Did she try to fight it? Another question appeared and she felt tears rolling down her cheeks. In the very moment, it was as if she found some sort of connection to her. She knew they will never connect again on the level of mother and daughter, but they might at least share the same destiny. Succumbing to suffocation and eternal darkness just to not feel the pain of loosing Timmy anymore.

Despite her weakened state, ecstatic smile took over her lips.

I shall find peace at last. With that, her eyelids fluttered closed and she let herself go.

Flasback
"DeeDee!" the little boy shouted as he ran towards his sister and hug her legs. "I missed you!"

She couldn't help but smile. "I have been gone for only an hour, honey."

He stopped to contemplate her words, confusion taking over his sweet little face.

"I still missed you though." He added finally, earning himself a kiss on cheek.

She knew that, considering the ten year difference between them, their brother-sister relationship was unusually close. The fact has been pointed out to her by many, including her own parents.

However, coming home to his chubby face and deep brown eyes, hearing him say that he missed her.. It was by far her favourite part of the day.

The more she thought about it, the more the large envelope from University of East Anglia burned in her backpack. Could she actually do this to him?
