"W-what?" Deya stuttered out wide eyed while letting go of him. It wasn't that she haven't heard him, it was more as if her mind refused to accept his words.
"Kiss me" He repeated with a trace of urgency in his deep voice.
"No!" The girl shook her head from side to side hoping he won't notice the blush that crept its way to her cheeks. What happened? Mere minutes ago he opened up to her for the first time, even managing to make her feel sorry for him, and here he is now, blackmailing her into kissing him.
"It's not like you haven't done it before." Max noted with amused smirk, enjoying seeing her twitch in embarrassment. It was certainly more pleasant than watching her tremble in fear, which was probably the weirdest thing about his relationship to her.
"In fact," he leaned closer and tightened his hold on her. "It's roughly three hours since you literally threw yourself at me."
"I didn't throw myself at you!" She burst out with anger, but Max reciprocated with a knowing look. He enjoyed egging her on. Seeing her feisty side. Somehow, it always made her look even more attractive to him.
"Not in THAT way, anyways" She murmured to her defence. "I just needed to distract you."
"Maybe.." He didn't bother to hide the scepticism out of his voice. "But then again, the way you desperately grinded on my cock would suggest otherwise."
His choice of words made the girl flinch. She couldn't suppress the shame that filled her. Is that the way he saw it? But I just did what I had to do.. to distract him... right?
"Well, then I'm probably much better actress than I thought." She hissed at him. There's no way she'll let him think even for a second that the kiss affected her, even though it did.
He was watching her carefully for a minute, eyes drowning in darkness again. Finally, he let out a low chuckle. However, there was nothing amusing about it. It was malicious and teasing.
"If you're such a good actress, you won't mind to show me again, then." His arms released her slowly and she immediately leaped out of his lap.
"Kiss me." He ordered sternly, but she did no effort to move.
"Or maybe I should remind you of your promise." He motioned towards the window and the fright spreading through the girl's features told him he doesn't need to explain further.
Discovering her biggest weakness, heights, was a mere coincidence, but it helped him to get her exactly where he needed. Backed into a corner.
The girl also seemed to realise her circumstances, as she gave up her defiance and took a few hesitant steps towards him, eyes closed in anticipation.
"Make it quick" She whispered in a broken voice, trying to convince herself that the butterflies in her stomach are actually a manifestation of her disgust towards him. It must be.
"I don't think you got it right, baby girl." The devil burst out laughing and their eyes met again. "You're supposed to kiss me. Not the other way around."
Deya internally cursed herself as she looked at his smug expression. Somehow, this made the situation even more humiliating, but that was exactly what he wanted.
"And if you're good enough," He whispered to her ear. "Maybe I'll forget about the punishment I owe you for trying to run away."
The girl stared daggers at him. Somehow, he always knew how to push her buttons. The right things to say, the right things to do, and the right things to force her to do. No matter how much she tried, she couldn't prevent him from getting to her, and he seemed to enjoy the fact a little too much.
