"Right now she's stuck somewhere in between 'I care' and 'I don't want to care anymore'. She's stuck between 'I want to stay' and 'I have every reason to leave'. She's stuck somewhere in between 'We've been through too much for me to give up' and 'I've been through enough to know I can't take it anymore'. She's stuck somewhere in between 'I don't mind putting up with his bullshit because every couple fights' and 'i'm getting so sick of arguing and fighting with him'. She's stuck somewhere in between 'I don't mind putting up with his bullshit because every couple fights' and 'I'm getting so sick of arguing and fighting with him'. She's somewhere in between 'Maybe things will be good again one day' and 'things will never be the way they used to be again'. She's stuck somewhere in between 'I love him too much to let him go' and 'I'm just done'"

I spent a whole 5 days with the Forrester family in a ski cabin in the woods. It was 5 days of ignoring our past and just relishing each other's company. It was 5 days of pure bliss and ignorance. I loved Dean and I felt like I was just dancing around in a pink mist of oblivion. Everyday, we went skiing together, took pictures together, sat around the firepit, and was all coupley. The weekend was so passionate, and it was almost like how it would be when we were married.

Flashback:

"Ugh, I don't want to wake up" Dean moaned as the alarm clock went off to signal that we were going to go skiing We were cuddled up together, naked in the king sized bed of ours. I attempted to get out of the bed, before he dragged me back in.

"Dean, we have to go" I said, as he just held me tighter around my waist.

"I don't want to. Let's just stay here" He groaned.

"Well... let's go take a shower?" I said, enticing him as he understood the meaning, and we went into the shower to get clean...

By the time Dean and I had gotten back to Stars Hollow, I couldn't stop being close to him and neither could him. We spent time with the newly married couple of Tom and Lindsay, went to Stan's funeral, and spent Christmas together, dividing our time between both families. I had gotten him a few sweaters... and a couple of car parts that were on his list of renovating his truck from Gypsy. He had gotten me a to-go mug, a picture frame of us, and a large teddybear. We helped Sookie babysit whenever we could.. it helped us be a little family and picture more of what life would be like married and everything.

When classes started again, the distance reared itself in like an ugly horse. The silence, the cancelled plans... it was like the ski trip never happened. I kept looking at the photos of us on my wall, wondering what  was happening?

It was three months after term started, and I was at a coffee cart before dance rehearsal when Sandy called me. Time was flying by and it was almost going to be end of the semester. Mom was so busy but luckily I had similar schedule to hers so I could get glimpses of her life, although Rory was playing phone tag with her. I just kept saying everything was good, while I let Mom go on about the little things in her life. Our conversations were not deep, but at least I knew what was going on with her.

"Hey what are you doing next weekend?" Sandy asked as soon as I picked up the phone.

"Hey, I might go see Dean. What's up?" I asked confused.

"Oh, can you cancel? Marianne and Rachel are both coming up to visit me at Columbia and it would be so great getting the whole gang back together!" Sandy said excitedly. I couldn't help but smile over the thought of that idea.

"I wish..." I said, as I pondered the idea. It would be so much fun, with the girls and just getting my mind off of everything.

"Well I think you definitely should. It'll be so much fun. I've got to go, but talk to you later" Sandy said, and we hung up.

"Hey girl! How's it going?" Hannah asked as I got into the studio and began getting into the correct tutu and shoes. I smiled at her.

"Hi, it's going fine. How are you?" I asked.

"Good! You don't look so fine, what's going on?" She asked, and I tried to find another lie.

"Oh just some roommate drama" I said casually, which wasn't a total lie...

"Oh geez, yea I can't imagine. How's that saga with her and Janet going?" Hannah asked.

"Oh just wonderful. Lane's finally leaving because the other roommates don't want her there, which came up because Paris was complaining and ordering Janet's boyfriend out" I explained, and Hannah chuckled.

"You must be glad that Dean isn't on Paris' hate list then, right? How is he doing?" Hannah asked, and I almost choked.

"He's good. We're super busy so it's been a bit tough communicating" I said, lying just a bit. I had no idea how he was doing, to be honest, we hadn't spoken this week.

"Aw I'm sorry. But you two are like couple goals. You two can get through anything" She said, before our coach yelled for everyone to assemble. I plastered a fake smile on my face, and did the twirls and leaps as my heart was breaking. All the seams that were hastily sewn on winter holiday were coming apart...

After dance class, I went back to the dorm room and just dumped my dance bag on my bed.

"Hey Tory! How was dance?" Janet asked as her and her boyfriend were sitting on her bed. I put a fake smile on.

"I'm good. I'm just going to take a shower and change to go to the library. Sorry, I'll just be a few minutes?"I said, hinting so I could get the room for some privacy.

"Of course. We'll be back" Janet said, as her and her boyfriend left the room.

It only took a few minutes for me to get ready before heading off to the library. I set out all my books, highlighters, notepads and binders, and began working. I couldn't afford to cry. I had to finish all my classes recommended material for this week, and more.

Third Person's POV

It was a few hours later that Tory finished the reading and studying material. On her way home, she finally broke down.. sitting on a bench crying. While her mother and sister both cried into the arms of guys about their personal struggles, Tory cried into her own because her problems were about her guy.
