"So your sister freaked out in class today" William said, as he leaned up against the locker next to mine. Tristan was standing there smug right next to him. I looked at him confused and shocked. I had been looking for my sister all morning after practice, but when she didn't show up, I figured she was in the classroom already studying.

"Wait, what?" I asked confused.
"Yea she supposedly woke up late, got hit by a deer, then she came in freaking out about not being able to take her class" Tristan explained. I was too shocked for words.
"You two are sisters, why didn't you wake her up? Did you want her to miss it so you'd pass?" William asked, smirking. I glared at him.
"You are awful for even thinking that! I had early morning dance practice so I got on a much earlier bus. I can't believe it..." I said, annoyed at these two clowns for being so stupid. I slammed my locker shut, walking away from them as quickly as I could to find Rory.

"What happened? I heard you went crazy in medinas class?" I asked as I arrived at the diner, after getting off the bus form Chilton. Mom and Rory were already there eating burgers, and I nodded to Luke that I would like one too. I had been looking for her all day at school, but found out from a teacher that she had gone home early.
"Mom called headmaster Charleston el douche" Rory said, as I look wide eyed at mom who just laughed.
"Your sister hit a deer" she countered, and I just sat back and laughed at my family.

The next day, Rory and I took the bus to school. I didn't have early morning practice so I was ok to go.
"I hope mom remembers the bake sale" Rory said, as I nodded when we headed off onto the bus.
"Hey" a voice said from behind me which caused me to almost jump out of my seat.
"Morning" I said, after I shrieked and sad that it was dean behind me. I had to stop a blush from coming on, as I saw my sister smiling from the seat across from me.
"Good book?" Dean asked, and I got really nervous.
"Don't know yet" I replied stiffly. I could feel Rory's stare at me, and I was incredibly embarrassed.
"I saw you standing in line and I thought I'd say hello...hello"dean explained.
"Hello" I replied, still startled he was here. Dean chuckled.
"Yea, uh are you always this serious?" Dean asked.
"No" I replied, still serious I realized afterwards. It was just so awkward sitting here next to Dean.
"So how long does it take you to get to school?" Dean asked.
"40 minutes if the bus drivers focused. Longer if he's listening to the radio...hey this bus is going to Hartford!" I exclaimed, realizing he shouldn't be on it.
"Yea I know" he said nonchalantly.
"But you go to school here. You have to get off the bus. Hey, he needs to get off the bus," I tried shouting to the bus driver.dean put his hands on my shoulders and got me to sit back down.
"You're forgetting something...buses make stops. Goodbye Victoria Gilmore" dean said, as the bus came to a stop and he left. He had said those words so closely into my ear I could feel his warm breath on my neck, sending shivers down my spine.
Rory looked at me and smirked, giggling. I rolled my eyes and read my book till we got to Chilton.
