Honey
I lost... Well, I'm blaming myself for listening to pop music plus Infinite only. I buried my face in my hands. I should have predicted this happening even before starting the game. If Yuki's spirit was roaming in this room right now or had told me the lyrics... Wait... She could! She was a ghost after all and she was wandering now, there's a chance to see her and beg her for help.
Yuki!!! Can you hear me?! Please, help me win this game. I'll do anything for you! I promise! I'll even buy you those green tea Kit Kats, which I abhor.
''Time's up!'' L announced. ''Now, Honey. Choose a note.'' He said coldly and tossed me Sunggyu-oppa's hat. I took it as I eyed him annoyingly for displaying such a glacial treatment and started stirring without looking at the content. Finally, I picked one which turned out to be not torn from a notebook or from a more elongated paper like mine was. The vital question is: Would the written in this paper cause me any burden? I slowly opened it. The others were looking at it with curiosity and anticipation. I felt... easiness after reading the writing: ''Take a spoonful of cinnamon and put it in your mouth. If you hold it in for thirty seconds, you win.''
I wondered who wrote it. I couldn't actually tell because I've never seen my best friend's signatures. Yes, I haven't. Unbelievable, right. Throughout this 365-day period (even over), I have never dared to peek into their notebooks or other, therefore, I never got the chance to know what kind of style of handwriting both of my besties have. Today would be the day I would certainly see if they write neatly or they use hieroglyphs to express themselves in written form. I could only recognize L's but it was not in the paper that I held.
I thought that it wasn't a difficult challenge at all and it'd be fun. But it proved me wrong. When I took the small bag of cinnamon from the kitchen's cupboard, I found a medium-sized silver spoon and poured a spoonful of the ingredient. I stuffed it in my mouth. I waited. Only five minutes passed from the start of the game. Only five seconds went by and my eyes were already tearing up as if I made contact with chopped onions. I made an attempt to linger and not to spit or cause any unnecessary commotion. Everyone widened their eyes due to my tormented face and wondered what was going to happen next. I couldn't take it anymore...
And I end up at the kitchen's sink, spitting all the cinnamon from my mouth.
''Here, drink.'' Suzy was holding a glass of water and massaging my back. I didn't swallow the quality of water; instead, I rinsed my mouth and spilled it carefully in the sink.'' Better?''
''Mm.'' I nodded.
''Let's go to the others.''
When I went out from the kitchen, Infinite, Sungjong and Krystal had worried looks on their faces.
''You OK?'' Sungjong asked me while scratching his nape.
''Yeah.'' I smiled assuring everyone I was fine and not to worry about me anymore.
''Gladly. We thought you needed to go to the nearby hospital.'' Sunggyu-oppa put his palm on the chin. He smiled at me slightly.
''Umm... how much time was the record?'' I questioned. It's not like I did well.
''Evidently, not thirty seconds.'' L rolled his eyes.
Why don't you stop being like this? You're hurting me.
Hoya-oppa pressed 'Play' button again.
