Honey

''Hurry up, Honey! Time's ticking!'' My besties insisted on coming to them.

I was fixing the camera, set it with good high quality. It was situated on a tripod so it could catch us on full height for the last picture. I positioned it opposite us three; my fellow friends were waiting for me to join them for a photo shoot. They were wearing Hawaiian clothes; a wide range of flamboyant flowers embroidered on them. Sungjong's clothes, consisting of Tee and shorts, were carrot orange while Suzy's top and short shorts were baby pink. I, on the other hand, was sporting a dress with thin straps on either of my shoulders, until the knees. Its color was white. It was a little big but I didn't mind since it made me feel comfortable. The three of us had each a straw hat with a blue ribbon around the band. Our shoes were kicked off and we felt the cool sand under our feet. Both of my buddies' arms encircled each other's waists; they plastered a smile on their faces. We were taking pictures at the beach as the sun was rising up.

''Just a little bit more!'' I shouted back, looking at the other settings. I wanted to see if the photos provided other cool effects so they could make the pictures more wonderful. I was thinking of making a photo album where I could record beautiful memories. When I found the right, in my opinion, thing, I hurriedly trotted and appeared beside Sungjong, wrapping my arm around his waist. The time setter had different sounds when counting down. I knew perfectly when it'd shoot so I commanded excitedly to both of them to say cheese.

We all did it. The high-pitched sound of the click reached our ears. Seconds later we ran towards the camera and looked at the taken picture.

''It turned out very well,'' Sungjong stated in amusement while observing it. I had to admit, he got a point. The effect I chose fitted the 'masterpiece' like I predicted to be. The beach which was used as the background screamed 'summer'. And it should be since it was that particular season. It was one of the first days in July. The weather was boiling, later we were going to take a swim, anyway. The skylight blue, no clouds entered the space. The rays of the sun lightened the surroundings. There weren't many shadows or places where the sun didn't cover; only under the red and white striped on vertical umbrellas and sunbeds weren't touched by the arms of the star.

''Honey, you definitely need to send me this picture,'' Suzy demanded.

''After I update it on my laptop,'' I replied with a smile. Both of them sent me their grin back.

Probably not having a clue on what's going on? To make it short, since Krystal's dead, her spell cast on my friends was broken. Suzy and Sungjong's health improved until their full recovery. I was so happy they went back to normal. I missed them at school so much to the extent that I would do crazy things without even considering the consequences. But they're back and I didn't need to worry anymore.

''Kids, your drinks are brought!'' Auntie shouted from fifty meters away from us. She was lying on one of the sunloungers leisurely, holding her beer in one hand. She was wearing a loose yellow top with thin straps and black shorts. Her flip-flops were located beside the furniture. Black shades covered her eyes. She motioned her hand, indicating us to come. '' Oh, God. I really craved for a drink. This weather's gonna kill me if I don't cool myself.''

Sungjong grabbed the camera while Suzy helped me take the tripod to where aunt was situated. A table of drinks was waiting for us. A cool strawberry milkshake for Suzy, a mint one for Catfish with cream on top and a blueberry fresh for me. They were served on a dark gray circle tray. Each of us took their drinks and sipped from them a bit. An approved and impressed happy smile was put on each face.

''It's delicious!'' The three of us said in unison. We looked at each other and laughed at our act. We sat on the chairs around the table, tired of standing.

''Since you all enjoy your drinks, I'll get one as well.'' Mr. Park said. He was lying on another sun lounger beside auntie's. His smile never left his chubby face which made me grin even more. The cab driver wore a white T-shirt with a quote: ''I'm da best!'' He got a cap on his head; its visor facing the glowing sun. He also wore red shorts; his blue flip-flops were placed on the side, too, next to my aunt's. Actually, all shoes were situated there, making the view a little messy. The man had put his hand on the young woman's before he got up. ''I'll be right back!'' With that he strolled to the bar in a funny way, the rest giggled at his movement.

Um... I haven't told anything about Mr. Park and auntie's relationship, have I? (examining the chapters carefully) Nope. I haven't. Well. BREAKING NEWS, everyone: Mr. Park and Miss Kim Haru are dating for around seven months! How did that happen? That's a whole different story.

''Summer vacation. It's a great timing of the year, don't you think?'' Auntie spoke first after silence fell upon us. We nodded. ''Plus, it's good you all finally graduated.''

''Yes, Miss Kim.'' Suzy agreed. ''But I miss school days. They were fun and very educational.''

I snorted at her statement. Sungjong started giggling and covered his mouth with his left hand.

Suzy frowned at us both. ''What? That's my opinion. Just because you two despise them, doesn't mean I do.'' She pouted and sipped her drink again.

''Despise is a very strong word, I should say.'' Catfish noted. ''I'd use 'hate'''.

''Psh. Yeah, right.'' Suzy rolled her eyes.

Auntie could only smile at us warmly. ''Have you thought of the university you would like to attend?'' She questioned.

''Seoul University of Arts.'' The female singer first responded. ''I've been singing from when I was little. I hope I get accepted. I studied very hard and I applied for that place.''

''Well, Daekyung University.'' Sungjong was next. ''With Infinite. Since we're all in one group, it's good to go together.''

Okay... so I haven't explained a lot of things... Since Catfish and Infinite are in good terms, Guy-leader offered him to join their group. The guys thought his singing and piano abilities were amazing which made Sungjong consider their suggestion for a few days. After thinking the pros and cons, he decided to take a shot. He quit his awesome job at the bakery which he'd miss dearly. The manager said he could come anytime. My best male friend promised him he would make that place popular after he became famous; after that, they shared a laugh. As always, variety shows and promotions are taking place. Infinite are getting busier and busier which leads to the fact that I'd see them seldom. But every time I get to see them, it makes me delighted and I felt proud when I heard that Sungjong got recognized by the social media. Now, as you know, Sungjong's taking a break with us all.

Mr. Park returned from the beach bar with a dragon fruit fresh. Small seeds were swimming inside the liquid. He sat on his sun lounger and drank from it, telling us it was great. We all continued our conversation with other various themes.

All of a sudden I sensed a cool presence from my back. A muscled body was grinding onto mine and a pair of arms wrapped my waist. I guessed who this person was and immediately beamed at the thought.
