Honey
I was getting used to Yuki's paying visits. She still startled me every time she appeared in the house but at least I knew who was doing it. I didn't have to worry about my little sister much anymore since I was able to see her. But I deeply wished my mother and father were together with us. It would be perfect if all members were present. As ghosts or not, my parents were welcomed to pay me a visit anytime. But I highly doubt they would come. Each time Yuki arrived, she somehow brought the memory of Mom and Dad with her and there was no way I would skip the feeling of them around me.
Tonight was her consecutive inpouring.
''Are you sure you want to dress like that? It's difficult to wear as Frankenstein's bride. Adding to that, if I were you I would reconsider my choice of costume.'' Yuki was sitting on the bed while I was looking for a dress on the Net so that I can make a copy of it.
I averted my gaze towards her in confusion. ''Why not? Doesn't it suit me?''
''It's not like that but...'' She made an uneasy expression; after that heaved a sigh. ''Okay, I'll tell you.'' My younger sis looked up the ceiling as if the words she wanted to utter were above. ''I predicted the future to see how your life will be since I was just curious. And it told me that Halloween won't be a very good day.'' She gazed at me with worried eyes.
''Can you tell me why?'' I desperately wanted to think that everything was going to be all right but, of course, after this news, I couldn't move. What does this have to do with me?
Yuki closed her eyes and put her index fingers on the ends of her forehead. But then she wrinkled her nose.
''I can't. It's against the Fantasy Codex. But watch out what you're doing. This year and the next one will change your life entirely. Everything will divert from their main course and you will never return to your current situation.''
''Oh really?'' I didn't believe her. Hadn't my life change already when it dawned on me that I possessed some creepy powers?
''You'll meet a new person, it's a pretty interesting female...'' She continued.
I shook my head. ''I think you're exaggerating. I mean what exciting will happen to me?''
''Just warning ya.'' She said and lifted her arms in the air and walked around.
Did she say ''ya''?
''Whoa! When did you become informal?''
''Practically I can be informal for the fact I'm a ghost, not a human anymore.'' She smiled slightly and then added. ''One benefit of being a ghost.''
''Shut up,'' I muttered and I continued looking for the perfect dress.
''BTW, Kiseop-oppa and Min-unnie* are splitting up... You still mad at them?'' I stopped again.
As this news reached my ears, I paused for a second. ''I'm not but I don't have any intention to have any contacts with them. They aren't worth my company.'' And I continued searching without glancing at my sister.
''Uh-huh.'' She said. ''Since you mentioned the word 'contacts'... how's it going with Myungsoo-oppa?'' It seemed that she was excited about this topic.
''You mean L.'' I said bored.
''The same. He's my bias from Infinite. And he always screws my bias list. Ugh... It's lame how you know them now. That's why I recommended you to listen to their music but nooo. ''I like pop music by Katy Perry and Justin Timberlake.'' She mimicked my voice from months ago. I could not believe I had been that annoying. ''International fans are participating in votes because of them.'' She went on with the scolding. ''Plus, I have a question for you: Why do you suddenly listen to K-pop?''
