On our next training, we went early to practice because Jia had something to talk to with the coaches. Some of our other teammates were also already there.

I was surprised when I heard a familiar tune from Sisi's phone.

"Friends!"

"Is that Friends?"

I turned to Rosie who was also jogging towards Sisi.

"Op! Ayokong may magulo kapag nanonood ako!" Sisi told us when we got neared her. She even hid her phone away.

"Grabe!" I objected.

"Ate Sisi, panood! Anong season ka na?" Rosie said.

"Sssh at shoo kayo! Usap tayo kapag tapos ko na!" Sisi insisted.

Rosie and I ended up chuckling as we shrugged.

"So you like Friends?" I asked Rosie.

"I love it!" she answered.

"Who's your favorite?"

"Chandler and Phoebe!"

"Nice! Same tayo!" I said excitedky and put my hand up for a high five. She laughed as we did the high five.

I'm always excited to talk about Friends. Best show ever.

"Who do you think should have ended up with Rachel? Ross or Joey?" Rosie asked.

I raised my brows in surprise.

"Oh, wow. We're asking the real questions, ah."

She smiled.

"Still Ross," I said.

"What?! Come on! It should have been Joey!" she argued. "Ross didn't make Rachel better. Joey did! And Rachel made Joey better, too. To be honest, I'm pretty sure Ross and Rachel would have divorced anyway!"

I squinted my eyes at her.

"Look, I've read that argument over and over and that's right. Character-wise, they deserved each other better. But realistically, they wouldn't have worked out! Their relationship would have destroyed the group's friendship dynamics. Plus, Joey's a really good person but he's not very smart. And Rachel? Rachel loves her career. Somewhere down the road, Rachel would climb higher and higher and Joey's not really the person she'd be proud to corporate events. He'd make a fool out of himself and it wouldn't be good to Rachel's career. Unlike Ross, who has a PhD, and the father of her child."

"Well, that's a bleak outlook on love, life, and marriage," Rosie commented.

"You were the one who said Rachel and Ross would have gotten divorced!" I argued.

"Yeah, because they bring out the worst in each other and sooner than later, they would have rather maintain a good friendship and be great parents than ruin it all. You, on the other hand, are saying that Rachel was career-driven and Joey was not smart enough for her and her dreams."

Well, when she put it that way, it did seem bad.

"But it's realistic."

"Yeah, but-"

Rosie wasn't able to finish her sentence because Jia started to call us to gather.

"This conversation is not yet over," I said.

"How about we continue it later? Over lunch?" she asked.

"Sure, sure!" I said with a smile.

I was bound to have a great discussion about Friends. I was excited.
