I'm awoken by Juan kissing my neck, "Good morning hermosa." he mumbles as he continues to kiss my lips and neck.

"I mean I could be better." he answers honestly. Before I can ask what's up he talks again, "Listen, I called because I miss talking to my little sister. The fight we had doesn't have to be the end of us talking forever. You know mom would have never wanted that." his words bring tears to my eyes which I quickly try to push back which I wouldn't be fighting to hold back if Juan wasn't in front of me staring at me worried as hell.

"I miss you too Oscar. A lot." before I even know it tears are streaming down my face unwillingly, "And I know mom wouldn't have wanted that. I was heartbroken when she passed. I should've tried to be there for you guys.  Especially Joel. I fucked up and that was my bad. I just wanna move on from it you know?" I say as I wipe my tears away with tissues that Juan had provided me with when he saw that I had started to cry.

"It wasn't all your fault okay? We all should've been there for each other period." I hear his voice crack which brings me to more tears, "Listen, I have to go one of the new guys i'm training is here but are you free later today so that we can meet up?" he asks and for the first time since i've been in Colombia with Juan I want to be back in LA so I can see my brother.
