"You'll wait in the car?" I ask Juan once I've pulled up to Mark's driveway.

He nods, reclining in his seat. "Yeah. Take your time."

Joel puts his key into the door and opens it. "You coming in?" he asks. I shrug, and consider saying no, but he grabs my hand and drags me into the house.

"Hey! You guys are back." Mark says, walking out of the kitchen with a bag of chips in his hands. "How was it?" he asks, taking a seat in the living room.

I look at Joel to answer. "It was fun. I had a great time." he nods, nudging me. "What about you?"

I nod too. "Yeah, it was a good time."

"You look great, Anna." Mark points out, plopping a hot Cheeto into his mouth.

I laugh. "Thanks."

"Where's Juan?"

"He stayed in the car. We're all exhausted. It was like a fucking hour and a half ride." I say, shaking my head.

His eyebrows shoot up. "Really? Was the place nice?" he asks, turning his attention to the TV.

"Extremely." Joel answers. I nod in agreement. "It was like in a vineyard and shit. I bet the wedding tomorrow is gonna be fucking gorgeous."

He looks over in amusement. "That's awesome. Are you guys leaving early tomorrow?" he asks.

I shake my head. "Not really. I'm pretty sure the ceremony is at the same place that they had the rehearsal dinner at tonight. It's like at three and then the cocktail hour and all of that shit happens. The actual party starts like at six."

"That sounds exhausting." Mark shakes his head.

I sigh, standing up. "I'm gonna go." I turn my attention to Joel who is texting on his phone. "You better be ready when I come by tomorrow. I'm picking you up at like one."

He nods, not looking up from his phone. "Mmhm."

I roll my eyes, plopping down next to him. "Who's got you so distracted?" I ask, looking down at his phone.

He turns his phone off. "None of your business."

"You haven't had a girl over in a while. Are you setting up a hookup?" Mark asks, smirking.

I shake my head. "And that's my cue to go." I shove him. "You better be ready tomorrow." I warn before standing up. "I'll see you guys tomorrow." I wave goodbye and make my way to the door.

"Can pick up something to eat?" Juan asks once I've started to drive away.

I laugh, shrugging. "Sure."

"What did you and Eduardo talk about?" I ask Juan, as I plop a French fry into my mouth. We picked up some McDonald's and are now sitting on the floor in front of my coffee table in our sweats.

"A lot. He asked me a lot of questions about you." he nods, taking a sip of his coke.

I look up to my TV, focusing my attention on the movie we're watching for a few seconds. "Like what?" I ask, turning my attention back to him.

He shrugs, setting his drink down. "I don't know, just how you've been, he really wanted to know how you were doing. Like genuinely feeling."

I nod slowly. "And what did you tell him?" my attention turns to my chicken nuggets that are probably cold by now. I pick one up, and bring it up to my lips, looking at him for an answer.

"I told him how I thought you were." he shrugs again. "Happy."

I nod, chewing quickly. "I am happy." I smile, taking his hand in mine. "And I owe almost all of it to you."
