I wake up with Juan in the exact same position he was in before we fell asleep last night. When I realize that I cant reach my phone without waking him up, I simply grab his phone that's next to him and unlock it so that I can play some of the games he has. I go on like that for about another half an hour before getting bored again. It's just past ten. I go back and forth on whether or not it would be messed up to wake him up after what he went through last night. Before I can decide, he begins to move a bit. "You've been up for the last half an hour." he groans, lifting up his head to look at me.

My eyes widen. "You knew?"

He nods, rolling over so that he's on his back. "Yeah. I can always feel when you're up." he scratches his chest while he yawns. His eyes look over my face and then his eyes widen. "Fuck, I'm so sorry you got hit last night, baby." he caresses my cheek.

I flinch, shaking my head. "Don't be. It wasn't your fault." I run my fingers along his bare ribs. "You took a few bad hits Juan, how do you feel?" I ask.

He shrugs, struggling to sit up against the headboard. "Holy shit, I didnt feel like this last night. I was going to say it wasn't bad, but I think it's gotten worse." he groans, looking down at the huge bruise on the side of his abdoman.

I frown, hating that he actually looks in pain. "Let's just stay in today. We'll order some room service and we can just watch movies all day." I offer, kissing his shoulder.

"Yeah, let's do that. I'm taking you out for dinner though."

I roll my eyes, but nod. "Okay, fine. For now though, just get rest."

"Poor Laila. I felt so bad for her last night." he shakes his head, looking out at the clear view of the ocean from the sliding doors.

I sigh, nodding. "Ugh, I know. She's so nice and amazing, she deserves someone so much better then that asshole."

"When he touched you I swear I was ready to kill him." he looks at my cheek, frowning.

I slap my hand over my probably buised cheek. "Stop looking at it, Juan! It isn't your fault. I should have never tried to break that fight up. I should've just waited for Laila to go get help."

"Still, I feel like shit that this happened to you because of that dumbass fight."

I shake my head, running my thumb over his busted lip. "I'm so proud of you for doing it, Juan. Who knows what would have happened to Laila if you hadn't stood up to him." I peck his lips gently. "Let's just...not talk about it anymore. Do you need help getting out of bed?"

He shakes his head, grimicing as he throws his feet over the side of the bed. "Im fine." it takes him a second, but he stands and begins to walk towards the door. "Let's go order some room servive." he extends his hand and I take it, getting up from bed.

"Have you heard from Daniella?" I ask as Juan is cutting up his huge stack of pancakes. He looks up at me as I take a sip of my orange juice.

He shakes his head slowly. "Now that you mention it, no. Wow, she was serious when she said she needed time away from me." he sits back in his seat in thought.

"Well, I'm sure she'll call any day now." I nod, already feeling bad that I asked. He looks hurt. I'm sure he misses his bestfriend.

He sighs. "Fuck, I wish she didn't have to feel that she has to be away from me. I miss her." he reaches for the syrup and drenches the stack.

"She needs the time to get over you, Juan. It's not because she wants to be away from you. It's what she needs to do in order to get over you. I'm sure everything will be back to normal once she gets the time she needs to herself." I nod, chewing on a piece of  bacon. "The wait is gonna be worth it, believe me."
