"I'm Joel." he says shaking Juan's hand hesitantly.

We stand there for a few seconds before he lets us in, "Be. Nice." I whisper into his ear before placing a kiss on his cheek to make it seem less obvious that I was telling him something, "What are you guys up to?" I ask curiously as we go into the kitchen that's empty.

"I've been in my room and the other two have been cooking. Oscar has been a completely different person ever since he broke up with you know who though so do not bring it up." he says warning me to stay clear of that path.

"We already spoke about it when he came over. It broke my heart seeing him talk about it. You can tell how much it hurt him." I say sadly.

"Yeah and it's all that fucking bitches fault." he says bitterly.

"Language." I warn giving him a pointed look.

He scoffs, "I'm sixteen Adrianna get used to it. Gonna be seventeen in less then a month."

I shake my head disapprovingly but decide to let it go, "Where are the other two?" I ask.

"Out back. I'll be in my room."

"Hey didn't you tell me when we first met that you didn't have any family out here?" Juan questions after Joel leaves.

"They moved out here after my mom passed away so we could all be closer. I didn't think it was necessarily to explain to you my whole life story at that point." I say shrugging.

"Oh. What were you guys talking about you the way?" Juan asks curiously as he walks over to me.

"My brother. His girlfriend cheated on him a little bit before my mom died after seven years of dating." I say. 

"Wow, that really sucks." he says shaking his head. 

"Yeah. Come on let's go outside so you can meet my other two brothers." I say excitedly as I drag him to the back door.

I open the door and immediately see my two brothers seated on the outdoor furniture, "Hey guys!" I say excitedly as I walk over and hug them while Juan stays at the door nervously.

"Who's the nervous looking dude?" asks Mark before I can answer he speaks again, "Oh, is that the guy you told me about?" he asks Oscar curiously. Oscar nods his head looking Juan up and down and shortly after Mark does the exact same thing.

"Yeah this is Juan Luis." I walk over to Juan and grab his hand as I walk him over to my brothers so I can introduce them to him, "This is Mark the owner of the house he lives here with my little brother Joel." I say patting Mark's shoulder, "And this is Oscar my oldest brother." I say pointing in his direction.

Juan extends his hand and both of my brothers take it one at a time giving him a death glare, "Anna go talk to Joel for a while i've got some questions for Juan." Oscar says using his nickname for me to let me know that he's serious as he pats Juan on the back harder then necessary.

"But-" before I can finish my sentence Oscar speaks again.

"Relax we aren't going to hurt him. He hasn't done anything I don't like. Yet. I just want to get to know him without your annoying ass interfering." he says staring at Juan suspiciously.

I roll my eyes, "Fine. Hurt him and I swear i'll hurt you. Don't forget you and Mark both taught me how to fight." I warn.

"Don't worry little sis we'll have Juan go get you once we're done with him so you can see he's still in one piece okay?" Mark asks.

I simply nod before walking into the house hesitantly. I walk over to Joel's room and knock on the door, "Come in." he says.

I open the door and walk in sitting on the edge of his bed, "Oh. Hey what's up?" he asks taking his headphones out.
