●I will see the world through you,
You will see it through me,
And forever we will be together and free......●And if love is the only thing left worth fighting for, may it be our greatest and when we leave, may our bones have been filled with an abundance of it so much, that this place shall forever feel how beautiful humans could truly be...

Everything fell into place again. Rose decided to stay in New York for both her work and treatments. She never saw Ian again. She folded his page and buried it deep in her heart. Although she did that, Ian was always on her mind. He never left her mind for even one second but whenever he came on her mind, she just convinced herself that it was the right thing to do and at the same time, she wished to go back in time to change all of that but she knows that everything just ended and there is nothing left between them other than memories and some love buried deep down in their hearts. On lonely nights, Rose would cry herself to sleep. She would regret what she did and she just wished to go back to the moment where they were unconditionally in love. She lived with guilt, the guilt of leaving him. The guilt of destroying him. The guilt of breaking his heart. And when she sat alone with herself, she always thought about calling him and telling him to be friends again and that's why she deleted his number, blocked him on any social media app. She thought that it was for his best. She kept convincing herself that it was the right thing to do.Ian on the other hand, he lost his way. He lost himself. He was torn between going back to Hayley or leaving her. He didn't know what to do. He just knew that he needed someone to be beside him. He needed a distraction so he went to the only person who would that for him. He went back to Hayley. He got into a relationship with her and convinced himself every night that she was what he needed and that he still loved her the same way he did in the past. But he knew....he knew that he was just deceiving himself. He never knew what to do so he just stayed with Hayley acting all good and okay. Acting like he was infatuated with her....acting like he was in love with her when indeed he was not. On lonely nights, Ian would just open his phone, listen to some sad songs while admiring Rose's beauty in those photos they had together. He would just stare at those photos for what felt like forever. He would smile at them and at the same time, he would cry at them. He felt guilty, he felt guilty for cheating on Rose. He believed that he was the reason although Rose assured him that he was not but he couldn't shake the feeling.
Ian lost so much. We can never blame him for the mistakes he did. We all do mistakes. Ian lost his psychologist, his friend, his best friend, his girlfriend. He lost one person that meant all of these to him. And after he lost that person, He never became the same. He lost himself even more, he drowned. He drowned deep that no one ever succeeded in making him reach the surface again even Hayley.Cassie and Eric were living happily together in a big apartment. They loved each other so much. They lived a happy life together. When they knew what happened with Ian and Rose, they were too disappointed but they never blamed neither Ian nor Rose. They just understood that they weren't meant to be. Cassie and Eric lost two people too. Cassie lost her friend, her teacher, her life saver, her boss. Eric lost his best friend, his childhood best friend, the brother he never really had. They both lost two people who meant so much to them and they couldn't just get over it. Ian and Rose never really disappeared from Eric and Cassie's life but they were not fully present either.
6 months later..........
Rose decided to go back to London. She couldn't stay in New York anymore. The memories never left her alone. They haunted her even in her sleep. She would always get anxiety attacks. She would have nightmares everyday. She became broken more than she was. She even started taking tranquilizers and sleeping pills again. Rose was beyond broken and that's when she decided that she no longer belonged here in New York. Ian was her home and when she lost him, she felt like a stranger wandering the streets not knowing where to go or what to do. She felt out of place so she gathered her things, she signed her therapy office to Cassie. She left her apartment and she took the first flight back to London. She went there where everything has started and where everything will just end.
