Slip of the Tongue ~ A Collection of Poetry

I've been dying for a while

slowly

    falling

        apart,

the

inches and the miles

have all, but

left my

heart.

The title of the poem is a play on the famous traveler and poet Homer who has given us the Illiad and the Odyssey as well as knowledge of Greek Mythology among other things. I would like to know if the title is suitable. So please, imput is welcome (always).
