My oh my

I sit at my door crying.How could Ben not accept Liu being gay?It broke my heart.He knocked on my door but I ignored it.I didn't want to talk to him.

"Jen?" a voice outside the door asks. "It's Silver.Can you open the door?"

I stood up and wiped away my tears before opening the door.He looked down and noticed he was standing on a paper.He picked it up and handed it to me,unsure of what to do.

Jen,

We need to break up.If you support gays,your nutty.Sorry.

Ben

I sat on my bed and began to cry again.Silver entered my room and closed the door,sitting next to me on the bed and wrapping his arms around me.

"It's okay," he whispers,holding me close to his chest. "It's his loss.He doesn't know an amazing girl when he meets one." He kisses the top of my head and rests his chin on my head.

"Thank you for being here to help me through this," I mumble. "I love you for this.And everything you've ever done for me."

I stop crying after a couple minutes but stay in that position.His arms are comforting.I didn't ever want to move.He picked me up and carried me downstairs.He sat me on the couch and went to the kitchen.

He comes back with cookie dough ice cream - my favorite.He hands it to me with a spoon and I eat as he cuddles me in his arms.He turns on Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince which we watch for five times.

Ben comes downstairs and stares at us.I glare at him then go back to watching the movie. "You're such a whore!" Ben yells at me. "We just broke up and your going and hooking up with Silver?!"

I stand up and slap him. "No,I'm not fucking dating Silver!" I yell.He backhands me,sending me to the ground.

"Don't EVER yell at me!" he screams.Silver rushes to my side and holds me in his arms.

"Your a bastard!" Silver yells. "How could you backhand her?!"

Dad runs down the stairs as I drift in and out of consciousness.I feel Silver's tears drop to my face. I wrap my arm around Silver's neck and kiss his cheek.

"BEN YOU ARE SO DEAD!" Dad yells as he hovers over me. "You're okay sweetheart.It's okay." I stand up and face Ben.He raises a fist,ready to punch me.He looked regretful as he brought the fist to connect with my cheek and knocked me to the ground.

Why am I the one always getting hurt?
