And so I told her. I told her everything. And she sat there and took it all in. Every ounce of it. All the holes and all the hills. When it was smooth and when it was cemented. What she means to me and everything else in existence.
She sat there on that couch with me and she watched me cry... and she watched me laugh. She watched every emotion inside me come alive.
She reached over with both of her arms and wrapped them around my head. She pulled my head into her lap and just let me cry. She started rubbing my hair.
"You know you have to go with them, right?" She said. I stopped crying. I was frozen. "Your friends need you." She said. "You can't turn your back on them. You're all connected through this curse so it's your responsibility to help the others that are like you."
I sat up and stared at her. She looked so sincere. Her smile filled me with comfort, even as my conscious remained raveled.
She raised her hand and rubbed my cheek. "Go find your brother. Find the answers you're needing. Make this thing evident and when you're done..." she stopped and closed her eyes. She stretched her smile across her face. "I'll be right here waiting for you."
This liberate in my heart... it answers so much. This sentiment right now... I've felt it before. When I was in Germany. They're people I love... and want to be loved by. And so I'll follow them. I'll fight right by their side. This journey will be a dangerous one, and I don't know when it'll end...
But I know where to start.

"5...4.....3.....2....KO!"
The crowd went nuts. People throwing popcorn and beer bottles. Screaming at their lungs peak in celebration or dissatisfaction.
"And your winner... OD3." He put his fist to his chest and walked around the ring, other first pumping into the air. Sweat seaked through his red hair. His bandages still remained perfectly intact, not a bit of damp to them.
Seems like he hasn't changed at all this past year. He climbed out of the ring and walked backstage.
Most of the crowd is cheering for him rather than against. Maybe when this situation is over, he can settle into a life of this. He's a favorite here. Might not be an ideal situation, but I'm proud of him.
I walked out of the building and waited at the back door. The night seems like it set this weather just for this occasion. The moon is fully out and the cold air puts my nerves to comfort. But even still, I can't shake these butterflies.
The back door opened and out he came carrying a bag of clothes. He walked right passed me without noticing me.
"Odessa." I called out to him. He stopped walking and without turning around he answered. "How did you find me?"
"It wasn't hard." I responded. "I knew you couldn't shift over to a normal life after everything. I knew you'd want somewhere where gain a money security net quickly. The first thing I could think of was underground boxing. I quickly heard of an up and coming boxer that goes by OD3. It wasn't hard to match him with you."
He turned around to face me. "Okie? So what do you want?"
I pulled up my sleeve and lifted up my shirt to expose the scar on my chest. His eyes slightly opened.
"I need your help."
