Chapter LVIII: Dalton X

Where did he go? I walked down the hall, slithering through the hallway. The smoke is a deep black. My airway is limited.
I heard a loud crash above me and the sounds of screams. Pablo. I stuck my arm out and began to move as quickly as I can through the hallway. I have to hurry. I stumbled on the ground below me and tripped and fell. The crashes above me continued. They're heavy.
After a bit of reaching, I felt a door. Upon opening it, I stepped inside and felt steps. This is the way up. I made my way up the stairs and onto the next floor. I heard yelling down the hall. I made my way down the hall through the smoke. The closer I got, the calmer the words became.
I reached an open door and the words stopped. I walked through it and entered a large room. It was completely destroyed. The smoke flowed across the rooms floor. And at the end of the room sat Sat Alyza.... kissing Pablo.
He's a mess. Completely destroyed. Probably isn't even alive. Blood paints the floor beneath him.
I took a few steps towards her, dragging my Katana beside me. She heard me and stopped, turning back towards me. She looked at me in shock. "What are you doing here?" She asked, letting go of Pablo. His body fell over limp. She stood up and started walking towards me "Thank God youre here!" She yelled out, flapping her arms frantically. "They hurt him. I don't know if he's..." I interrupted her by creating ice around her leg, stabbing into her. She looked down in shock.
She looked back at me. "What are you.." I interrupted her again by forming ice around her arm, stabbing into her arm. She looked frozen before staring down at the floor.
Her face turned to anger. She yanked her body and the ice exploded off her. She looked up at me, furious. "You bitch!" She yelled out, rushing at me. She sliced her hand in the air and I pulled up a wall of ice. Her attack shattered the wall.
I took a leap back and she sliced again. I through up my wall and again it shattered. She then sliced again and once again I pulled up a wall and they exploded. I came in towards her and pulled another wall, this time being close enough to catch her hand inside it.
I leaped back away from her and she yanked her hand again, shattering the ice. She ran at me and sliced but this time I ducked underneath her arm and kicked her leg in. I then swung and connected with her cheek. She completely absorbed the impact and came back at me. I leaned back and dodge it, then lifting myself into the air with my ice.
She sliced and shattered it, leaving me falling towards the earth. I used my Yurie to form more ice, lifting myself into the air again. She sliced again and caused it to shatter.
Her endurance is impressive. Matched equally with her strength makes her a deadly opponent. It's no wonder Pablo is in the state that he is
She ran at me again, this time I created ice shards to lift from the ground and stab into her stomach. She stopped in her tracks. Blood dripped down the ice. I aimed my hand at her and fired shards at her, stabbing all into her body. I released the shards and she staggered around before dropping to her hands and knees.
Tears began to drop from her eyes. "You don't understand." She said. "You don't understand what they gave me!" She screamed, looking up at me. She then dropped her head again. "I had nothing. Not a reason to live. They gave me a reason... I know what I do is wrong but isn't that better than not having a reason at all!?" She said, tears dripping onto the floor.
"My life... is there's. I just wanted a purpose. Just wanted to feel needed. What's wrong... with wanting to be wanted....." She said. She then lifted her head up at me, tears still filling her face. She stood up and staggered towards me.
She reached me and threw her arms on my chest, placing her head in between them. "Wanted by everyone..." she stood there in silence, crying into my chest.
"Your revelation disgusts me."
I swung my arm, slicing my Katana through her. Her hands relaxed off of me and her insides glided across the room. Her lower body collapsed where she stood and her upper half fell to my feet. Blood drained around my, staining my feet.
I looked over at Pablo. What exactly are you...
"Why did you do this?" I heard. I turned towards the door and saw Marz standing in the doorway, staring at me. "She's not who you think she is." I said. He stood in shock. I turned back and faced Pablo. "I'll explain later." I said.
I walked over to Pablo and knelt down. I put my fingers to his neck. His pulse... it's still strong. I smiled. Pablo.... maybe you're not as weak as I thought.
I squared in front of Pablo and grabbed his arms, lifting him onto my back. I then stood up. Marz was standing over Alyza. The hotel rumbled. "Leave her." I said. Marz looked at me but didn't speak. He seems upset.
I walked past him and out the room. I remember the way I came in. I can carry you to safety. I began to walk through the hallway. The sirens outside are becoming intense. I can hear helicopters. We probably won't make it out of here alive.
I made my way down the steps and back into the lobby. Odessa and Proph stood alone in the room. I walked towards them. I looked around. There's bodies crawling and moaning. I looked up at Odessa. "You didn't finish them?" I asked. "I can't." He said. "They wouldn't give me their name."
"What happened to him?" Proph said, pointing towards Pablo. "We'll talk about it later." I said. I looked up at the hotel. "How do we get out of here?" I asked. Proph sighed. "I'm not sure."
"I think there's only one way." Odessa said. Me and Proph looked at him. "He held his hand into the air.
"I hope you can outrun a collapsed building."
