The alarm clock sounded, startling me out of my sleep. I opened my eyes to see Odessa already awake, sitting up on the couch staring out the window.
I spoke to Odessa last night about everything. He refused to get involved however he told me he knows someone who might be willing to help. He stayed over at Ariannas with me so we can leave together as early as possible. We apparently have a long flight.
The door to Ariana's room suddenly opened and out came Arianna in a night gown, yawning into her fist. She's wearing her glasses. Sometimes when Ariana wakes up, her vision can't adjust quickly and so it's blurry for a couple hours. So she has to wear glasses sometimes.
She stopped yawning and opened her eyes. She seen Odessa and paused. She then looked at me with a confused look.
"Sorry if the alarm woke you up." I said. I then rubbed the back of my head nervously. "This is Odessa. He's my brother." Ariana's face lit up and she ran over to him and hugged him. "Oh my Gosh thank you so much for helping him! I heard so much about how strong you are!"
Odessa just sat there taking the squeeze from Ariana. "Sorry.." he said before taking Ariana's arms off of him and standing up. "I can't help him. But I do know someone who might. We're leaving immediately to find him." Ariannas face lit up and she turned to me "Did you hear that!? You're going to get help!" She cheered before squeezing me too. "Yeah, we'll probably be gone for a few days." I managed to say through the pressure of her squeeze. Ariana let go of me and looked at me. "I don't care how long you're gone. Do what you have to in order to help you and all your friends." She said. I just smiled at Ariana, and she smiled back.
Odessa coughed to break up the mood. "Sorry to interrupt, but we need to go." Odessa said. "Oh, okay" Arianna responded before stepping back. I looked at Odessa "Hey, let's go to the garage before we leave. I have something I want to give you." Odessa held out his hand "Lead the way." He said.
I stood up and walked to the garage door from the living room and walked down the steps to it. Odessa followed but before stepping outside he stopped at the door and turned around. He said a few words to Arianna that I couldn't make out. He then shut the door and walked to me.
I stood there, pointing at the desk. "I made this with you in mind?" Odessa looked down at it. "A scythe?". I rubbed my head "Well yeah..." I answered.  I then held up my hand with only the index finger up "However this Scythe has been modified to expand the usage of your Yurie." I said. "Oh, really?" He responded before grabbing the scythe. He picked it up and started tossing it up with one hand and catching it with the same hand. Without looking at me, he asked "So you kept me in your thoughts all this time?" I felt a bit embarrassed when he ask it like that. "Yeah... I did.." I responded nervously.
He took a swing with the Scythe, slicing the air. "Yeah. This'll due nicely. I'll take it."
Wow. My insides exploded. I felt so happy... and so achieved.
I gave him a sheathe to wear around him so he can carry the Scythe on his back.
We walked to the street side and waited in silence for a while until a large black Jeep pulled up. Odessa opened the back door and stepped inside of it. I went to follow but was interrupted by a familiar voice. "I love you!" I heard behind me. I turned around to see Arianna standing there at the doorway waving. I waved back "I love you too!" I then turned back and stepped into the Jeep and shut the door. When then drove off and the whole time Arianna stood at the doorways waving... until I couldn't see her anymore.
We arrived at a private airport a few hours later. We were driven  up to a small jet before stopping. Odessa unbuckled himself. I turned to him "What is this?" I asked. He stopped moving and looked at me. He then chuckled and shook his head. "You didn't really think Boxing was my only job, did you?" He said before getting out of the Jeep.
I got out and followed him into the jet and sat down. There's only two seats in here and they face each other with a small table between them. After a few minutes the door closed and the pilot walked back to us. "Are you guys comfortable?" He asked. Odessa didn't respond but I shook my head yes. "Okay, good." The pilot said. "Because we have a long flight to Syria." He said before walking off. Syria!? I looked at Odessa with a shocked and confused expression. He looked at me and then back out the window.
A few minutes into the flight I fell asleep. I was awoken by the intercom. The pilot saying we're about to land. I sat up and Odessa was still awake, still staring out that window.
We landed on a sketchy runway next to a tiny village. All I could see was buildings and sand. Odessa stood up and walked over to a container in the jet and opened it. He grabbed a piece of clothing and tossed it to me. "Put this cloak on." He said. "You don't want to overheat out there."
We got off the runway and was met by a woman in a military uniform. She had blonde hair in a pony tail with bright blue eyes. She had the body of a tomboy, everything was underdeveloped.
"Welcome back, Odessa." Odessa waved the air. "Spare me the greetings. Where is he?" Odessa responded with. We reached her and she turned around and started walking beside us toward the village. "He's currently on a mission with a small squad. Their job is to protect an old building from any intruders. We don't know why the building is so special, but they offered us a high price to do it. So he volunteered." She said.
We entered the village. It was a mix of civilians and people in military combat outfits. Odessa whispered something in the girls ear and she peeked over Odessa's shoulder. She then called out to one of the civilians and spoke to them in Arabic before pointing at me.
Then citizens smile lit up and she looked at me. She was a short, fat old lady with stringy, dry hair. She grabbed my wrist and said something and pulled me off.
She brought me to a goat and pulled my hands down and placed them on the goats utters. WHAT!? I looked at her and she held up her hands and started making an up and down motion. Did that bitch tell this lady that I want to learn how to milk a goat!?
I looked behind me and her and Odessa were smiling before turning around and walking off. Are they just leaving me here!? The lady grabbed my chin and pulled my head back around. She pointed at the utters and yelled something.
So I sat there for half an hour, squeezing and pulled on goat nipples until finally Odessa returned. I was on my knees so I looked up at him. He tapped me on my head.
"Get up, we're leaving."
