Chengcheng's POV

"And come with me because I really need your help...more like I need a company because I don't want to go alone to the shop. I'm quite hungry and there's nothing good in the vending machine downstairs," Zhengting adds and walks away with me following behind him.

"Hey but what do you mean? Who is interested in her?" I ask curious. What is he talking about...and false signs?

"I'm not sure yet and don't overreact, okay?" he says not satisfying me with his answer.

"But Zhengting...and what do you mean by these false signs? You're so confusing..." I say and sigh deeply.

"You're the one confusing here Cheng," he answers giving me a quick glance. Man...this boy.

"But why do you want me to be with her? And what Mina has to do with all of this?" I ask still looking for answers.

"Oh Jizas you're really dumb sometimes...but listen carefully...I just trust you and I know you would be good to my sister like, you know, I'm good for your sister. I have this kind of feeling because you're my best friend and a really loving guy that Mina didn't appreciate. But I don't want to rush things or worse I don't want to force you to be with my sister. Just know, if you ever want to date her, you have my blessing. But I want you to be with her for her, not because of someone else," he lecture me for the second time and I'm still not sure what he exactly means.

"And what with this 'better do it fast'?" I give him another question and he just smiles weakly. He looks into my eyes and says. "I just don't want you to realise things when it'll be too late, that's all," he claims as he pats my back and walks into the store.

On the way back I still think hard about what Zhengting has said. I've always seen Nana as my younger sister. I don't think I would ever be able to do such a thing like a 'move' on her. It would feel so...strange.

But indeed she's pretty, talented and has an amazing personality. There are also things that she's hiding underneath it all that I've always wanted to discover but it's out of curiousity.

I think? But maybe I am wrong?

"Don't think about it too much, huh? There'll be a time when you'll understand what I mean," Zhengting says taking me by surprise. Can he read people's mind or something?

"Oh shoot! Let's hurry up because we're late for practise!" yells my best friend and we start to run to the company. We walk through the front door and make our way to the practise room. I run up to the doorknob and open the door fiercely taking everyone by surprise.

I open my mouth to say sorry but falling Nana catches my eye. Everything happens so fast. Her other hand is suddenly pulled and her body lands on someone else's. I sigh in relief knowing that she hasn't hit the ground and run up to her.

"Jizas, Nana are you, okay?" I ask her as I examine her closely looking for bruises and other injures.

It's kind of my fault. She's probably got startled because of the sudden noise and lost balance. I should've been more careful.

Good thing that someone saved her.

I look at the person on the ground wanting to thanks but words stuck in my throat.

Out of all the people...Xukun...

"Yeah I'm okay," she answers as she brush of the dust. She looks at her lifesaver and widen her eyes. "Xukun your hand!" she screams kneeling next to him taking his arm in her palm.

I try to keep my anger back...why does she even care?

"Come on, I'll treat it," she says as she helps him to get up.
