Nana's POV
"Kids! Dinner!" my mom yells and I watch as my whole family including myself run down. I watch me as I fight with Justin who's gonna be first. I win and smile, saying him that maybe next time.
They all sit down on the chairs and start to eat. My favourite food...chicken and rice. That's all I need to be happy.
The whole family start a conversation about the things that have happened lately in their lifes. They all laugh and have a good fun. They're all happy.
I can feel a tear on my cheek.
Suddenly the vision starts to get blurry. The smiles disappear from their faces and I can't see myself any more. It's like I have vanished into thin air out of nowhere. The rest look at me with cocky smirks and I back away.
"You should leave, go to your mother. The dead one," my dad says making my heart beats rapidly. I can't see clearly because of the tears. I try to wipe them away but fail. Everything goes black and I feel like falling.
"No!" I scream as I open my eyes. I look around and there's no sigh of the dining room I've just been in. I find myself in the bed.
So it was all a dream...
I wipe the tears from my face and take few deep breaths. I wander my eyes around the room and realise that it's not my bedroom.
It's Qinjia's guest room...
The memories from last night flies through my head and I feel like crying again. I haven't even known I can produce so many tears.
It seems that I fell asleep while Xukun was carrying me and he's taken me here. I'm glad that he didn't take me home like I asked him to. I don't know how I'm going to face my family...it won't be the same.
I look at the clock. 9PM. I'm already late to school, but it's not like I was going to go there anyway. I get up from the bed and sit down immediately because of the headache. I glance at the table placed next to the bed and notice a small note.
"I didn't wake you up because I knew you probably don't want to go to school. If you want to take a shower, go ahead. You can use my clothes and the kitchen is all yours. Your...parents...know you're here...but don't worry they won't come. We talked with them. Just rest.
Qinjia"
A small smile appears on my face as I read the note. I go out of the room to be welcomed by dead silence. Nobody's home I guess.
I take some of Qinjia's comfy clothes from her wardrobe and go to take a shower. I turn on the hot water and stay like that for a while. Usually, when I'm sad or stressed, I take a really long hot showers. I love the feeling of warm water running down my body. It makes me forget about everything for a moment.
Finally, I go out of the shower and sigh deeply. I make my way to the guest room thinking about yesterday again. Lost in thoughts, I enter the room and look up to meet with Xukun's eyes.
He doesn't say anything. Neither do I.
Why is he here?
I look at the table and find a trace with the food on it. I don't think I'm going to eat. I just don't have the apetite.
"You should eat something and rest. And your head probably hurts after crying so much, but I know that you don't take painkillers, so I made the tea that my mom used to make for me when I was younger. It should help you," the boy says quietly and not waiting for my response he attempts to go out but I stop him by taking his wrist.
