Xukun's POV
"You're not going anywhere," I say as I catch Yanjun's arm before he can go to Nana's table. I can't let him ruin her first date. I glance at her as she smiles brightly to Chengcheng talking about something.
I'm jealous...but I'm not heartless.
"Jizas man...who are you?" he asks me and I look at him in disbelief. I sigh deeply and realise that I have a mask and a cap on so Nana won't recognise me. But Yanjun knows me since I was little he's supposed to know my voice.
"It's me, Xukun, you dumbass," I say smacking the back of his head. Good thing there's a lot of people today and everyone is too occupied with work to care about us. Normally I wouldn't even come inside without a reservation.
"Oh...it's you...but what are you doing here? How did you get here? How did you know?...Or did your senses come back and you're here to ruin-"
"No, Yanjun! That's not the case...I'm here to stop you," I cut him off and explain my intentions.
"But how did you know?" he ask me desperately and I sigh deeply.
"I came to your house to hang out but you weren't there-"
"And?" the boy interrupts me and I give him a death glare.
"Let me finish...You weren't in your house but you left a trace behind you..." I make a pause before continuing and Yanjun's eyes widen. "You left your computer on...and there was a website of this restaurant and also something with title 'How to ruin someone's date'," I finish and cross my arm in front of my chest waiting for his explanation.
"Ughh...okay...but it's for your good. Look I don't care if you like it or not, but I'll complete my mission," he states proudly and I roll my eyes. Is he playing a James Bond now?
"Oh no, you won't, my friend," I mumble and push him back as he turns around and makes his way to the couple's table.
Yanjun loses his balance and the trace with wine slips out of his hands. I watch in slow motion as the bottle lands on someone. Wait I know this shirt...
I look up at the face of the victim and my eyes go wide. That's the last thing I wanted to do. I stand here in panic waiting for some reaction but before the person can look at me, someone else pulls me down under the bar we've been standing next to.
Nana's POV
"By the way that's quite a nice shirt, did Zhengting bought it for you?" Chengcheng starts the conversation after Yanjun leaves our table, taking me back to reality.
"Emm thank you, but actually...Xukun bought it for me when we were in the mall on Saturday," I answer truthfully and lose my thoughts in the memory looking down.
"You were with him in the mall?" he asks me and I nod my head smiling.
"Yeah...it was a 'payment' for taking care of the kids all day with him. He forced me to stay and I guess he felt guilty about it," I say and look in Cheng's eyes. Anger and disappointment are written all over his face and I automatically know that I've messed up. I've totally messed up.
Nice Nana, I guess you've caught Justin's stupidity when you accidentally drink from his cub today's morning. Nice, Nana. What are you going to do now, huh? You've just told how great you were spending the Saturday with his enemy...okay what to do...think Nana think. You're good at it. It always works in school so why not now?
"I'll go to the toilet. I'll be back in a minute," I say as I quickly get up from my seat and make my way to the restroom.
Wow...nice Nana...you're such a genius...cough sarcasm cough
