I spent the night at Tyler's. We celebrated his return. Matt was with us for a while as well but he left a lot earlier than us.
I laid on the same couch as Tyler, laying opposite of him. I woke up to a foot in my face. I almost gagged from the smell. I pushed it and sat up.
"Hey, have you seen my phone?" Matt asked looking at me.
"No. Maybe he did." I suggested as I kicked Tyler lightly. He woke up and Matt turned down the music.
"Hey man have you seen my phone? I'm late." Matt asked as Tyler sat up.
He look around. "Look at you, Captain Responsible." Tyler groaned sitting up as he cleared the table. "Here join me for breakfast." He spoke putting two shot glasses down.
"Nuh-uh." I spoke taking the liquor away. "This is the first step to being an alcoholic." I spoke putting the bottle down next to me.
"Lame." Tyler replied as I looked at him worried.
"Ok. So you gonna tell us happened in New Orleans?" Matt asked sitting on a chair.
"Well, there were witches, gumbo, a few originals." He spoke looking down. "Look it doesn't matter because it's over, in the past. No more drama. I'm starting fresh." He shrugged and I smiled lightly.
"Okay then. I'm throwing you a welcome back party." Matt smiled standing up.
"Perfect idea." I nodded.
"What no." Tyler replied looking at Matt walk out.
"Yes I am. I'll invite people while you clean this place up. And dude you need a shower. You stink." Matt added walking out.
"Is it really that bad?" Tyler asked looking at me.
"Yes it really is." I replied patting his shoulder. "Are you sure you're okay? I mean with what happened while you were away?" I asked trying to make sure he was okay.
"I'm working on it. I'll always hate him and want him dead, but I need to worry about other things." He explained and I nodded.
"Like maybe a new girlfriend." I suggested.
"A new one?" He questioned tilting his head.
"Or an old one, whichever you prefer." I smiled lightly. "I'm here for you. I'm known to be an excellent wing woman." I replied smiling. He chuckled lightly. "Now go shower you smell like a garbage can."
"I want a hug first." He said jokingly as he tried to rap his musky self around me.
"No. No." I pushed him back smiling.
"Come on. I thought you were here for me." He asked as I laughed before he gave up and stood.
My phone rang and I answered it. "Hello?" I asked after seeing Caroline's name.
"Hey. Where did you go last night?" She asked curiously.
"I caught up with Tyler." I replied and I knew he was listening because as soon as I turned to him he looked away quickly. Being between them two was definitely awkward and I wasn't sure what to do.
"Oh ok. Well, have you seen Elena since?" She asked.
"No why? Is everything okay?" I asked curiously.
"Well she just hasn't been answering anyone's texts." She replied and I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Oh. Well I'll try to call her or something." I replied. "Are you looking for her?"
