I woke up and shot out of bed. I was in my own bed laying over a towel so my sheets wouldn't get bloody. Stefan must have brought me here. I expected to see him next to me but I didn't. I sighed lightly and took a shower and changed my clothes. I got out of the bathroom and I saw Stefan sitting on my bed.

"Hey how are you?" He asked looking at me.

"How are you?" I asked in reply. His night was much worse than mine. I stayed standing by the door. He obviously didn't want to touch me earlier.

"I'm okay I guess. He snapped my neck after he snapped yours." He explained as I looked at him.

"And he stabbed your neck too apparently." I pointed and he nodded. "Talk to me Stefan." I sighed lightly as I walked over.

"I've been thinking about what she said. I dropped everything. I didn't realize how much it hurt her." He explained as I looked at him sadly.

"Well maybe you should call her and apologize?" I suggested crossing my arms lightly.

"That's not enough." He sighed lightly. "I was thinking we should visit. I know you miss your dad and I want to make things right with Caroline."

I smiled lightly. "Sounds like a plan." I nodded to him. He stood up and went towards the door. "Stefan." I spoke as he turned to me. I didn't know how to phrase it. I didn't want him to stop talking to me because he felt guilty. He didn't have to.

"I'm sorry." He replied as I held my arm.

"I'm not mad at you." I answered. "Don't feel sorry on my part." I shook my head. "But please don't shut me out."

He walked over to me and hugged me. "I won't." He whispered as I put my arms around his torso. He looked at me and kissed me lightly. "Everything will be normal again soon." He reassured holding my cheek. I nodded with a smile. "Have a good night." He added before he walked out of the room. We had a big day ahead of us so I went straight to bed.

I didn't pack much for the trip. I got a few pairs of clothes and bathroom essentials and shoved them into a book bag. I walked out of my room and put on my shoes. Stefan went to his work to tell his boss he was going on vacation for a few days.

He got inside and looked to me. "Ready to go?" He asked as he walked over to me.

"I am. I haven't told my dad. I want to surprise him at Whitmore." I smiled to him as he walked over.

"That's cute, Babe." He replied as I let out a chuckle. "You're so excited."

"I haven't seen him." I replied pushing lightly against his chest. "I'm excited Stefan."

"I can tell." He replied as he put his hands on my waist. He bent down and kissed me. I wrapped around his neck and kissed him back. He kissed me again and then I backed away.

"Come on let's go." I jumped lightly and headed outside.

We rode our motorcycles there. I'm not saying it was a race, but if it was I definitely beat him. We got into the college and I could hear Elena. We headed upstairs and she was talking to someone before he walked away. She seemed extra happy which meant the forgetting must have worked.

"Emma? Stefan?" She asked as she came over. She wrapped around me tightly. "What are you two doing here?" She asked as she hugged Stefan. "Four months is way too long."
