The day had gone by and I had been drawing for most of it. I honestly needed to start selling art or something because I did it so much. I headed downstairs and saw the house a wreck. "What the hell?" I asked as I looked down. Glass shards were literally everywhere.
"Hello." I heard a man with an accent. I looked up at him and he smirked lightly.
"I assume you were the one to trash the house?" I asked looking at him.
"With my help of course." I saw Damon walk in with a bottle of bourbon. I looked between the two for a second. I had no idea what the hell was going on. "I'm taking that as a sign that you didn't hear what happened." Damon pointed as I shook my head. "Elena broke up with me and now, I'm a free man."
"Mmm." I nodded lightly. I was actually really surprised. Elena seemed so happy with him despite everything he did. "So you're retreating back to your old ways to prove you are bad?" I asked looking at him.
"I like how I am." He replied with a shrug. He was obviously sad and he became more sadistic when he was. I was the one to help him break from it the first time.
"Damon you're practically see through. I'd tell you exactly what you're feeling but I don't think I'm gonna embarrass you in front of your new friend." I looked at him slightly annoyed.
"Enzo." He smiled putting his hand out as I looked at it.
"Look-" I started turning back to Damon. Enzo put his hand down. "I'm not gonna tell you how to live your life or anything, but you should know that this is stupid and you'll regret it." I explained crossing my arms.
"Don't you know Emma, I don't regret anything." He looked at me as he walked over.
"So you don't regret letting me be kidnapped?" I asked as he was quiet. "You shouldn't lie to yourself Damon. It's unhealthy." I looked at him worried. I looked at Enzo unsure. He was promoting the behavior, but what the hell was I supposed to do? I went back upstairs to get dressed.
I checked my phone and I was surprised that I hadn't got a text from Elena. She usually texted me after parties. I assumed she was just busy. Just then I got a text from Caroline. There was a 'bitter ball' at Whitmore for singles. I was secondly surprised that Elena hadn't asked me first. I wondered why she was being so awol. I texted her that I'd come and she told me to wear black.
I got ready and headed to Stefan's room to see if he was going so I could hitch a ride. Not to mention to address the Damon problem. I knocked on the door and walked in to see him putting on a suit jacket. "So two things. First are you going to the bitter ball thing?" I asked as he turned to look at me.
"Yeah Elena invited me earlier." He sighed lightly as I looked to him confused. "What?" He asked.
"She hasn't talked to me in a few days. Did she seem mad at me?" I asked curiously.
