I was at the Boarding House and we were getting ready to celebrate Bonnie's birthday. I was going to start drawing when Stefan called me.

"Hello?" I asked as I put down my pencil.

"Hey. Are you up for a scavenger hunt?" He asked through the phone.

I furrowed my brows. "A scavenger hunt?" I questioned unsure of what his plan was.

"Give me that." I heard faintly through the phone. "In order to honor Bonnie I'm going to look for Ms. Cuddles." Caroline told me.

"Isn't she in the living room?" I asked confused.

"The original Ms. Cuddles." Caroline spoke as if it was obvious. "Now are you coming or not?"

"Well I am good at looking for things." I replied.

"Good because Stefan is literally no help. He's just standing here and watching. Bring a shovel." Caroline explained as I laughed.

"Okay I'll be there soon." I smiled before hanging up. She ended up sending me a random location in the woods. When I got there Caroline was digging holes.

"Great." Caroline sighed. "Someone useful. Start there."

"What did you do?" I asked glancing at Stefan.

"I forgot a shovel." He replied as I nodded.

"That's rough." I pat his shoulder before starting to dig.

I made it through like five holes when I looked to Stefan starting to get annoyed. Why the hell find a bear that we already had?

"Oh is that an m&m?" Stefan asked pointing to the ground.

"Where?" Caroline asked.

"Right there- oh to the left- left. Oh no." Stefan opened his flask. "It's just a leaf." He sighed looking at it.

I shook my head and let out a chuckle. "Is this funny to you two?" Caroline asked agitated.

"We're searching for a bear that no ones seen in ten years, Care. It's a little extra." I commented looking at her.

"Not to mention we are in the middle of the woods looking for a shallow grave made by you when you were nine." He smiled. "I can't even say that with a straight face."

"You are drunk. Give me that." Caroline spoke grabbing for the flask.

"No, no, no. You have more ground to cover." Stefan said pulling the flask away.

"You're a jerk." Caroline spoke walking away.

"Jerk huh?" Stefan asked standing straight.

"Oh, you sound angry." Stefan commented.

"Help me out here Emma." Caroline looked at me.

"Stefan is a jerk and you're definitely mad." I spoke quickly vamping over to Stefan and taking his flask. I took a swig and he snatched it back.

"I'm not angry, ok? I'm just annoyed because I am going through a highly emotional situation right now, and Stefan's just sitting there, mocking me." Caroline looked at Stefan.

"Definitely angry." Stefan replied and I nodded in agreement.

"I'm not angry, ok?" She assured raising her voice.

"Well, you should be. Your mom is dying, your best friend is stuck in some netherworld, and you're sitting here trying to make it all better by finding a stuffed animal?" Stefan asked looking at her.
