It took a while for Stefan to get all the information but he did. It ended and I went to him. Before I could say anything he passed out again.
We walked until dawn. Stefan was carried and I walked next to him as two travelers carried the gurney. They put him in a car seat in a random junk yard near Mystic Falls. I sat next to him laying on my hand almost about to fall asleep.
"Hmm." I heard Stefan take a breath and I opened my eyes and looked at him.
"Hey." I smiled to him.
"We moved?" He asked looking around.
"They don't call us travelers for our mileage points." Sloan replied looking around. I noticed her standing behind me.
"I know this place. We're right outside of Mystic Falls." Stefan spoke and she nodded.
"Believe me I'd rather be at the beach right now, but this is where we are supposed to meet our fearless leader." She replied.
"Markos, right? You said he wants our blood. Why?" Stefan asked. Stefan's phone rang and Sloan answered it.
Apparently Tom was gone for months and the memories were old.
"If we're seeing old memories, it means we have to go deeper." Sloan spoke as she put her fingers in blood.
"That'll fry his brain. You can't do that." I spoke looking at the woman but she already started.
"Stefan, Stefan!" Caroline asked.
"It's ok Care. I'm with him." I reassured her. Sloan stopped and I held Stefan's hand worried.
"Emma is everything okay?" Caroline asked.
"It's okay Caroline. I'm here. 6643 Peachtree Drive. It was a red haired woman. Her name is Hazel." Stefan groaned.
"Okay thank you. I won't let you down." Caroline reassured.
Caroline he's a good person. Don't do it." Stefan breathed. I looked at him worried.
"Clocks ticking." Sloan told Caroline before hanging up. She put down Stefan's phone and walked away.
"Hey, are you okay?" I asked holding Stefan's hand as he breathed. He usually didn't stay awake after being brain fried.
"Yeah I need to lay down." He replied as I nodded. I saw a car in front of us. There was a blanket inside on the ground.
"You can lay in there. Here I'll help you." I helped him up and took him to the car. He laid down and got inside. He took a breath and laid down.
"Thank you." He spoke as I nodded sighing. sitting on the farthest side of the red van against the door.
"We were walking all night." I told him. "They carried you like sleeping beauty on a gurney." I smiled to him as he smiled back.
"Did you just call me a princess?" He asked looking at me.
I chuckled lightly. "Sorry. I haven't slept in a while."
"Here." He said as he moved over a bit to give me room to lay down.
"Thanks." I took a breath and laid down.
"Do you remember when you forgot and we had become friends again?" I asked curiously. When I was sleepy I liked to talk up a storm. Besides I didn't really want to fall asleep when the travelers could take him and fry his brain at any moment.
"Yeah." He replied. "We went on a walk because I was upset about what I had learned." He explained.
"And then you said we should've had more epic moments." I smiled lightly at him. He looked up and listened.
