It's 9:15 AM when Camila finally woke. After stretching her arms, she looked at the time. Camila went into panic realizing how late it was. She normally woke up around 6:30 in the morning.

"Shit!" she says, shifting quickly after she made sure she really was awake.

"Sounds like someone is awake," said Epifanio as he walked into the room. "Good morning to you too."

"Wait.... How did I-," she stopped in the middle of her sentence remembering all of what had happened the day before.

"What?" Epifanio asked.

"Nothing, never mind. I just thought of something. That's all."

"You forgot for a while didn't you?" he said smiling at her.

"Y-yes..." she responded, very embarrassed.

"It's alright. I would've too if it had been me. A change like takes time to adjust to."

Camila sat upright on the bed. She was taking in all that had happened yesterday. It was certainly a big change. 'I'm just going to tell him now. No point in waiting for the so called right moment. I know all too well that's not going to happen.'

"Epi, can I ask you something?" she asked.

"Of course. You can ask me anything, you know that," he replied.

"What if I said that I wanted to stay. What would your reaction be?" she asks, hoping he wouldn't notice her intentions.

Epifanio didn't respond. All he could do was stare at her. It didn't take him long to realize the purpose behind that question. Tears of joy ran own his cheeks as he smiled glowingly at his wife. She was planning to stay.

"Epi? You alright?" Camila asked.

"You want to stay, don't you?" he said.

"I, uh, well I mean....yes," she responds.

He went over to his wife and sat on the edge of the bed, pulling her into a hug and then kissing her forehead. Camila buried her face into his chest so he wouldn't see how red her face had turned. For quite a while, they sat like that in silence.

Later, Epifanio and Camila were both downstairs. Camila was on the couch in the sitting room reading while Epifanio was in his office working on the campaign. She soon went upstairs and found the book she normally wrote in. She grabbed a pen and flipped to a blank page. In it, she wrote: I'm finally home. I can't believe this. I'm still worried about what will happen, but I do know that I'm with my family. I'm going to stay, and I'm not going back. For once, I actually feel something other than, well, nothing.'

Camila looked up from what she had written and saw Epifanio staring at her from the door entrance. For a moment, they stared at one another.

"Yes?" asked Camila looking at him.

Epifanio could only grin at her. He walked over to where she was sitting and sat next to her. Epifanio then wrapped his arms around his wife. Camila stared blankly into the distance. They hadn't been this close since their first few years of marriage together. The longer their marriage had lasted, the more it had felt like they grew apart. Now, it felt like they had been together for only a mere few hours. Epifanio had no intention to let her go again.

"We were invited to a wedding," Epifanio said, bringing Camila back to focus.

"Who is getting married?" she asked in response.

"Manuel's god-son."

"When is the wedding to take place?"

"Tomorrow. Would you like to go? Isabella can come and we can take it as a moment to also celebrate your homecoming."

Camila took a minute to think. "Alright," she finally answered. "I don't have any other plans anyway."

It was 3:45 in the afternoon. Camila wanted to talk to Isabella about going to the wedding. However, Isabella was no where to be found. It worried her to death. She kept thinking something bad had happened to her daughter. Suddenly, Isabella walked inside after returning from school.

"Isabella! Thank goodness! I thought something bad happened to you," she said.

"I'm sorry mom, but the way I normally get home had a lot of people there who were fighting so I had to take a detour," Isabella responded. "I didn't want to get involved in whatever they were arguing about."

"It's alright. Next time, just text me if you need help getting home."

"Okay."

Camila and Isabella then went outside and sat on the porch. She explained the wedding to Isabella and what her husband had thought of it. Isabella agreed that they should go. It had been a while since she had gone out anywhere.
